Do remember seeing a video, maybe on here, when Rodgers was last here. It was about 4 minutes of the ball being passed by foot or rolled out by our keeper in one game. Now considering the ball is in play about 65 minutes each game, that’s an * of a long time for a keeper to be involved effectively as an outfield player. Joe hart scares the * out of me if playing the game with his feet is needed tbh.

A lot more mistakes creeping into his game, we need an upgrade pronto.

For the first goal, he should have come and claimed the ball from the corner. It was 2 or 3 yards from his goal line.

I think Joe has been a great servant over the past 2 seasons. He’s clearly loved his time at Celtic.

But it’s obvious Joe is declining and it’ll cost us points this season if we don’t bring in a better keeper.

Looks so uncomfortable with what's being asked of him and it's spreading thoughtout the defence.

Has been a good keeper for us over past 2 years but if he's not up to it he needs replaced

If we want to be a champions league club, we need a better quality keeper. It can be the difference between a win/draw/loss or the difference between progression/elimination

He’s severely declined, even compared to the second half of last season, when he had already started to dip. It’s snowballed since.

It’s gotten to the stage where I’m now not even confident in him to make saves. Should be second-choice at best, but tbh I feel both Siegrist and Bain are better options at this point. Would only have Hart on the bench for his presence in the dressing room.

I’ll keep banging the same drum. We are doomed to finish bottom of our CL group again if we stick with him. I’m sure we can still win the league but that’s not enough to say he should stay. Would love him as a back-up with a view to becoming our next Kewell/Woods if he was interested. Really like the guy but he’s not good enough any more.

I have very little confidence in Joe anymore. Hopefully we bring a new keeper in before the window closes.

If we sign someone like that big Czech boy from United with someone comfortable on the ball like Nawrocki on either side. Johnston and a new left back. Teams would be very fearful about pressing us high..

They're doing it now because just we know our weaknesses.....every other * does as well..

Kovar under a high press with the pace we have up top? Jeez, he'd just play a long diagonal yesterday and they'd be *, or a wee ball through for McGregor or Nawrocki in space, even if they're being squeezed but he looks like someone who'd trust his touch..

Hart is a bag of nerves. He's petrified anytime the ball goes back to him or anyone's within 10 yards breathing down on him..

I love big Joe - think he's been a great servant to the club in his short time here (and still has something to offer), but by * he looks robotic as * now, almost mummy-esque in his movement and reactions.

We desperately need an upgrade, pronto!

Can see his decline in every game he plays, totally uncommanding around 6-yard box. Every aspect of his game is in decline.

Most decent goalkeepers wouldn't have needed to save the first one.

They'd either have dealt with the cross that led to the corner, or easily came out and claimed the corner when it came in. Hart's problem (well, one of his many problems) is he's hopeless at dominating his box.

Love Joe and after the SCF was thinking give him another year but pre-season and Sat put an end to that. Desperately need a new No.1.

And a back up keeper since Rodgers is already picking Bain over Siegrist.

For me it would be look to get a first choice in now and see if Joe will stick around until January and sign a back up then.

    Siegrist should be punted.

When asked to assess his goalkeeping department including Hart, Benjamin Siegrist and Scott Bain at present, his thoughts were clear. The boss said: "Bain was here when I was here and was an excellent understudy. He plays how a modern keeper should play in terms of dealing with the ball a his feet and he makes saves.

He's been a great support and loyal number two or three since he's been here. Benji I haven't seen so much and he hasn't played so much. But a goalkeeper with a really good attitude to his work and Joe Hart speaks for himself. He's had a fantastic career and he is so ambitious to do well. He knows he is getting towards the end of his timeline as a player but wants to maximise that.

"In order to do that and play as long as he can, he is working ever so hard to be the best he can. He is a great guy and makes crucial saves for the team, like I have said before, it is assessing everything. I always like to give players and the units within that time. We have got through to another three weeks and by the time that time comes, I would then hope I have everyone on board to go forward for a really exciting season."

Make no mistake Rodgers will be looking for a GK.
