Never in his first though. Had a bounce and done well everywhere hes gone, improving what has already been at every squad..

 

The football we played during Rodgers first season was fantastic, blew teams away and had a decent showing in Europe.

Second season wasn't as good, but it's overblown by our fans by how much it dropped. We were still excellent in parts.

Third season was abysmal, no doubt about that, but there was so much turmoil between Rodgers and the board, it's not too surprising in retrospect.

There's been signs of excellent football so far, just don't have the players for it just yet.

Well, BR's first competitive game in charge was a loss to Gibraltar's Lincoln Red Imps! We obviously bounced back after that.

 

Battering Barca in their own back yard with a B team. 2-1 but they've absolutely dominated afer the first 5-10 mins.

 

Watched a wee bit of it. Spurs starting to look good.

 

You can tell they're still adjusting to the style but it has the Ange stamp over it already. Some beautiful football tonight with basically a full second string.

 

Aye, working it so well to get in to those byline positions and players attacking the box. So similar to how we scored so many with Kyogo there to tap them in or Abada and Jota coming in late

I know some people were really bitter about him leaving, but aside from that I don't know why some were insisting his style wouldn't work for Spurs when we were able to go toe to toe with a ridiculous quality Madrid team for an hour, he's going to have access to a much higher standard of player across his whole squad compared to here, once it clicks for them they'll be a really dangerous side.

 

Really think Ange will do as well as anyone could at Spurs. Miss him.

I think a large part of the problem with the second season was we went from blowing teams out the water to trying to protect the unbeaten record for so long. Games weren't about winning in style, they were about winning and continuing the unbeaten streak.

Getting battered off Hearts to end that streak was probably the best thing that could have happened because we did get significantly better after that.

Cuntish spurs fans losing their * that kane was sold … if your top player is not signing a new contract you have to sell regardless what team you are it’s not ideal the timing but that was more down to the player Tottenham will probably win first game and not hear a peep about the timing anymore

Thing is Kyogo is trending as the replacement....hope it's bollocks

 

They will more likely go for Mitoma that was anges first pick when he was here and went for kyogo when he was out of reach

Apparently they want Watkins and Eze with the Kane money.

 

They'll win * all and take a few tankings along the way no doubt, but they should appreciate it while he's there.

Leeds should have stuck with Bielsa, in the same way.
