Odin looking more confident for each passing game. He'll be really good for us if he can dodge serious injuries.

 

Looks like a classy operator. Nice balance and passing, always wanting the ball. Hope he gets the minutes.

 

Only a cameo performance today for his official debut but again liked what I saw.

 

60 minutes odd I’ve seen him play and I’m excited about it. He’s a natural in there.

 

Definitely think he'll have a big part to play this year.

 

This bhoy looks the real deal. Movement, passing, awareness. Everything that’s needed from a midfield player. Would be magnificent in a holding 2 with a bruiser beside him.
This bhoy will be an absolute star, hopefully here but if not then elsewhere. Great signing.

 

Looks technically good enough and a clever player, needs to bulk up and improve physically though. 20 years old but still has the build of a young player, is about the same height as Forrest but Forrest looks about 20lbs heavier and is much more well built. Can't really get away with a slim slight build in the middle of the park, he does look quite athletic as well, decent turn of pace and even going up for headers had a good leap.

Get the boy in the gym.

 

Caught the last 15 mins on the radio in the car yesterday and Paddy Bonner mentioned this, but also made the point the Cal was similar at his age which I thought was a great point.

 

Aye some players take a while to fill out I think although sometimes it could also be they are just lazy and not got it in them to do the work either. We don't really know yet. Could end up like Forrest/McGregor who went from slim and lightweight to really fit and physical or end up like Griffiths or Stokes who went from that to weak and unfit as they've not got it in them.

 

You've got to assume it's just a natural thing, don't think we're in the business of scouting young players with an attitude problem.

 

He looks like he can play any of the roles in midfield, thought the same during the Bilbao game that he looks very similar to McGregor in style. Very very promising.

 

I know, most people at 20 are built the same way to be fair even Ajer for a season or two was the same but ended up a good unit.

Main point was he is still built like a youth team player and does need to bulk up and should be working on it and probably has been told that.

Did not advance expect him to be in a match day squad this early never mind playing. Looks good and made me feel a lot better about things squad wise. Him, Yang and Nawrocki have all impressed on their competitive debuts.

Next week will be a bigger test for them. Hoping Yang can get a start and we can try Abada LW. It’s not the game for Maeda next week it will be tight spaces and players biting at ankles, Maedas dribbling and touch will be exposed and he’d be better sitting this one out or coming on against tired legs.
