Harsh on O'Riley but we're a lot more fluid with Hatate starting. Even if we make signings within the next week I'd be shocked if they start.

Actually think this game will suit us more, Aberdeen will press similar to County but i think we'll be much more prepared, 3-0 us.

Try Abada on left until we get a LW sorted (if he’s fit) Hatate at RB if he’s still here too.

Siegrist wasn't on the bench so he isn't starting. I think it will be the same as yesterday, maybe Hatate in for Turnbull or O'Riley

Too many changes for a dodgy first away at Pittodrie but I like the thinking behind some of the changes..

That middle trio eventually has flexibility and energy. All can rotate, are comfortable on the ball and can carry it..

They've got Nicky Devlin who was at Livi and he really used to struggle against Jota's trickery and close control. He's quick and can run all day Devlin but I would like someone there over Maeda, depending on how attacking they are with 2 up top. If they fo go for us, Maeda could expose them in behind..

The one I'd be very tempted for here is Scales over Taylor. He's mobile enough. Good in the air and can get up and support. Ok one on one defending as well in pre season..

Kyogo dropping deep and laying those wee through balls and flicks in behind is probably gonna be key here though. Can't see them handling it..

You never know. We may even have some movement this week and thrown straight in to it..

Same team as Saturday I'd say. This will be a very very tough test

Yeah more wishful thinking on my part. Hart and Ralston will most likely start. RC could’ve had 3/4 yesterday which is why I want it changed up a bit. I like to see something different than yesterday though, didn’t think we were good at all which sounds a bit off after scoring 4.

Should be playing a completely different animal next week. County could’ve had 3/4 which is pretty brutal for a home game against them.

    Aye I know..

Only thing is we're early in and there has been signs of some fantastic bits of play in most games so once it clicks, with players still to gel, new systems, new signings still to come in the door....I can see us being no too far away..

Was very flat though yesterday despite the scoreline. Defensively poor and there was a lack of urgency in the side. Probably no helped by the fact our goalies ancient and slow. Our fullbacks were/are painfully slow. 2 of our midfield 3 was/is slow..

I'm no footballing expert, but even a blind man can see that we have needed a new LB for a couple of seasons (which has never been addressed), a box to box powerful attacking MF and definitely a new GK as big Joe's form has really went downhill. Why this hasn't been done before yesterday I don't know as we have two very tough games coming up in the league as well as the CL and, if we want to progress in the CL as well as retain our trophies, then we better get the finger oot

Sometimes you need to compliment the opposition too. They pressed us really high and forced our poorer players into mistakes.

There was one point Taylor was taking a throw in about 35 yards from our goal line and there was 2 County players ahead of the ball, cutting off the angle to Hart/Nawrocki

I wish more teams would do this.

Can’t drop Turnbull after yesterday ^

It’ll be the same team unless we sign someone (RB/LB) who is fit and good to go.

Think he might start with the same mf and Maeda and Abada again, being a tougher looking fixture on paper. Assuming Abada is ok?

Sure, Maeda wasn't at his best, but can provide cover for Taylor and could have had an assist. Hatate could be the one change, but I don't see who drops out, after both O'Riley and Turnbull played so well?

This would be the team for me as well though Rodgers would stick Abada on the left instead of Yang as he did pre-season.

    Hart
    Iwata CCV Nawrocki Taylor
    McGregor
    O'Riley Hatate
    Abada Kyogo Yang

Should make a few changes for this.

Thought Ralston was woeful yesterday. I'd give Iwata a start instead for this. We also need Hatate back in the starting eleven. Maybe harsh to drop Turnbull but I felt O'Riley had the better performance and we looked more cohesive in the second half after Hatate came on.

Maeda had a shocking game as well, Yang has looked lively and is match fit so I'd like to see him get a start as well.

    Tough test in the circumstances.

They'll be desperate to get points on the board after their overhaul this summer and drawing with Livi yesterday.

We definitely looked a little rusty in places yesterday, hopefully we come on for it and a get good week's training in us. Keep the pressure piling on.

Got to be the same team as the weekend. Only change I might be inclined to make is to bring in Hatate, but you can't really justify that with Turnbull and O'Riley scoring. Maybe bring in Yang from the start?

Anyway, will be a right tough game.

Expecting this to be very difficult. Would be delighted with 3 points regardless of how we play.
