Not Actually that Crucial a Summer as of August 2023...beginning to now think everything isnt fine!

Just said in match thread but we should never have been going in to today weaker than last season. And our first 11 is just that, weaker today than it was last season..

Inexcusable that we have added quality in. Farcical even with the season starting..

 

We didn't play well in some of those games, away to real or either game against Leipzig.

 

With each game it gets more glaringly obvious.

Not addressing these positions would be negligent.

 

I don't see a CM coming in unless 1 leaves. You have Calmac, Turnbull, Hatate, O'Riley, Iwata, Kwon and Holm.

 

Great to have Celtic back. Think everyone is looking impressive except GK. really need a replacement asap.

 

I agree but i just don't see it happening and I'd rather have a go,lb and lw in first to be honest.

Not one of the problems that needed addressing at the end of last season has been. Added to them we now have no Jota and no replacement of like quality. Still 4 weeks of the window left etc but I have a nasty feeling that 5 weeks from now we'll be no closer to sorting these problem areas.

100%. Too many fans have fallen into the trap of just assuming we're gonna win the title for evermore, regardless of what we do. That isn't me buying into the pre-season sevco hype either. It's just a realistic assessment of the fact we are currently weaker than when the season finished.

Johnston will be back so I don't see a RB coming in.

 

Thankfully have AJ to come back but agree we need upgrade at LB

 

That performance just highlighted it even more.

New manager and all that but the sloppiness at times today was unacceptable. A better team should have taken points off us. Conceding 2 to that shower is nowhere near good enough.

GK, LB, LW, CM are priorities in that order. Another CB is crucial as well if Starfelt goes.

Lots of work STILL to be done and not that long to go now. We genuinely need to wake up and get the finger out here.

 

That leaves more questions than answers to be honest.

We could be doing with several players, but a left winger and a goalkeeper are absolutely essential.

Maeda and Hart will be two of the worst players in the entire Champions League group stages if we go in to it with them in the team.

 

We have 3/4 weeks to get a number of positions that we have been crying out for.
