Think when Kane goes to Bayern, that seems inevitable, Kyogo will suddenly be an easy option for Ange to turn to down there…

If he was staying he be the next person after McGregor to get a new contract but heard nothing only McGregor and Kyogo signed a new contract.

Spurs have signed Alejo Veliz a Argentina striker for £15 million but think that's a back up at that price and they will spend big when kane leaves .

Ahh I seen they were linked but didn’t see it going through, that’s a relief to me tbh. Kyogo’s fee after a new contract, especially to a guy like Ange who knows his value, would be too much for back up but nowhere near what they would need as a Kane replacement. That’s settled my wee anxiety that haha

Think the past few years have proven that fans shouldn’t read too much into what managers say in public. Especially someone like Brendan who’s very adept at talking utter *.

Also, only an idiot of a manager would come out and say something akin to “we’ll definitely be signing two new first team quality players in the next two weeks”, because managers know deals fall apart often. Give your head a shake.

Been keeping my powder dry on this topic for the last few weeks, but now it's flag day it seems poignant to give my assessment on the summer so far, and to be honest the overwhelming feeling is one of being underwhelmed.
Was of course sorry to see Jota depart but I honestly thought that would give us the cash required for BR to really go put his mark on the team with a couple of quality first-team signings. I do think we have made some good signings in the Korean duo, Holm, Tilio and in particular Nawrocki who I think could be first-team starter material, but on the whole, the team still needs a couple quality players in key areas to take us up a level and just give the fans that excitement factor about going to see new players in a new season with fresh blood, hunger and ideas!
Still time of course to add some new players but going into our first competitive game I was expecting us to be on a stronger footing personnel-wise than we currently are.

I still go back to the fact Rodgers left last time basically because there was no money to improve the team.

With that being the case why would he come back again to the same situation??? There MUST be proper money there I just don't get it unless everyone is turning us down.

We will probably easily beat Ross County today and the nodding dogs will be out in force telling us it's all ok. But this team in the champions league is a * riot and that's where we really need to progress.

We can't be more open than the way ange set us up. The team was a riot because the tactics were exactly that. An embarrassment.

Behave. Ange won a treble last season, and if our finishing had been half-decent in the CL, we would have had European football after Christmas. But aye, his tactics were an embarrassment.

He was far to open. Complete novice mistakes. Lucky we had a weak group or it could've been worse.

Just the old Real Madrid philosophy - you might score, but we'll just score more. Not inept, just an exciting attacking style.

Aye it works against siimiliar opposition. Being open helped against worse opposition aswel. Against teams of superior quality, its full blown championship manager tactics and we got pumped.

How many times do people have to point it out. We played well in the CL last season. It was poor finishing that let us down. That's not down to tactics, that's down to individual players fluffing their lines.
