Not sure, just seen this morning olympiakos, Lyon and villareal linked. Then when you Google says Frankfurt wanted £40m in April, but can’t be anywhere near that w those teams

 

Only seen him a few times, similar player to Daizen but was thinking he was even more technical nah?

 

Maybe a wee bit better technique. If we had to replace Daizen, he'd be ideal, but I don't think there's a realistic scenario where both of them fit in the same roster under an attacking manager like Rodgers.

 

A good six/12 months with Hibs and there's every chance either us or the huns move for him. Only real reason I can think of tbh.

That young Unai Gomes number 40 for Bilbao looks decent. Values at 100k on transfermarkt

 

Ander Herrera for a year or two would have been a decent move. Good technical possession player, strong in the tackle, good for a goal. Experienced.

A left wing option Alexis Flips from Stade Reims. He’s 23 years old, who can play off either wing. He is right footed but is good with his left too. His passing and eye for a pass are excellent. He takes a good set piece too. Is a decent dribbler and also works hard off the ball.

Rated at €6m on Transfermarkt but his deal is up at the end of the season so you could probably get him for around that figure.

He got 4 goals and 6 assists in 33 in the 11th placed team in Ligue 1, however I think he is capable of upping those numbers in an attacking team.

Sverre Nypan is already a first team player at Rosenborg at 16. Has 2 goals and an assist in 12. The fact we've signed one of the hottest talents in Norway would maybe sway him coming here......bit like Hjelde after Ajer..

 

Looks a big prospect but has Brexit not scuppered us registering U18 players from Europe?

Came across this thread on Twitter or X as it is now. Promising U23’s playing in Brazil Serie A. Some of the players would be out of our price range but there are a good few who would be worth a look.

At left centre back if Starfelt goes Murillo from Corinthians and Lucas Beraldo of São Paulo look worth a look.

The left back Rikelme looks like the type of left back we would be after, powerful, good defensively and creative going forward, also plays for one of the smallest clubs in the league and seems affordable.

There are a number of dynamic centre midfielders including Vera being mentioned. Johnny from Internacional looks a player probably still affordable, as does Martinelli at Fluminense and Bitello at Gremio sounds like a perfect player for us but may be too expensive.

 

7m, affordable.

 

For left back we could do a lot worse than look at Twente’s left back Gijs Smal. He got 10 assists and 2 goals in 31 games for Twente last season from left back.

Seems to be a pretty solid defender too, has good pace, is around 6’ tall, has excellent distribution and crossing ability and is also great at carrying the ball forward.

Is into the last year of his deal so wouldn’t be overly expensive.

Below is his highlights from last season and a scouting report done on him in February of this year.

He is 26 soon with good experience in the Eredivisie. Twente also had an excellent season last year getting good results against the top Dutch sides.

Definitely some players I'd take from Twente and AZ, and they shouldn't be out of our reach financially.
