Probably not on the wages he'd be after.

Might be a token fee but his wages will be ridiculous

Should be asking the question about Ernest Nuamah. Playing for Njordaelland in Denmark. Had a good breakthrough season last year, 12 goals and 4 assists for them in the league from the wing.

League started back up this week and he bagged a hat trick. Only 19 years old. He’s quick, direct and skilful. Don’t know how much they would be wanting for him but need to be keeping an eye on these guys. Should have been all over Simon Adingra before he went to Brighton. Watched him bag 2 in pre season last night and he was excellent. Nuamah was basically the replacement for Adingra.

Hibs have just signed him for £700k.

Be very interesting to see how he does, when I mentioned him in January I genuinely though he could do a job for us as a backup striker. Looks to have all the goalscorer instincts, think he could do very well in our league.

The eerste Divisie has had some great goalscorers recently, Sydney Van Hoojidonk had a great season before going to Bologna and was loaded out to Heerenveen where he scored 19 in 39 last season.

He's back at Bologna now, of we were in the market for a striker I'd take him, just for the shirt sales alone

Unlikely to happen, but after his Forest contract expiring and now his driving ban today, Jesse Lingard’s stock must be pretty low.

He’d have to take a significant wage cut to come here, and he’d still v likely attract an EPL or other top 5 league club, but he’d potentially be a good Jota replacement on our left wing.

He’s pish, he had a good half season at West Ham a few year ago but he’s an attacking midfielder and just a cringy *.

I looked him up when I seen that they’d spent a bit of cash, by Hibs standards anyway, on him. Good record and going by a 5 minute video alone, seems a good all round player. Can tell he’s came through the Dutch youth teams. Looks a good finisher, good technique and for somebody with his frame doesn’t look a pushover either.

Looks a cracking signing for Hibs that. Really hope it works out because our league needs more thinking out the usual freebies from English lower leagues.

Hopefully a younger Van Veen, skipping the lower league in England part of the process for Scottish teams to look at them.

Guys not a winger. No doubt he’s got talent but he’s only ever shown it at 6 months at West Ham, that he quickly then chased a big money contract instead of taking his chance of going back to the team he clicked with.

    Guys a waster.

I assume he's just rested, but If Starfelt is leaving, we should be bringing in Austin Trusty as his replacement.

Solid player who played 44 games for Birmingham last year, getting 4 goals and two assists. Huns are meant to be interested in him but they're apparantly miles off Arsenal's valuation.

Again, I doubt there's anything in the Starfelt stuff, but if there is I'd hope we're interested in Trusty.

I know we have money to spend but there are still some interesting out of contract players worth a look.

Tiemoué Bakayoko ex Chelsea will be 29 next month but has played sparingly for a couple of seasons after a good 20/21 at Napoli. A big powerful centre midfielder with a good engine and big 5 and CL experience. The Chelsea move was a disaster but he would stand out up here and be able to offer experience for Europe.

Haris Belkebla, 29 ex Ligue 1 ball wining centre midfielder. We were linked with him a few years back but never materialised.

Ross Barkley, 29 seems to have done alright last year at Nice playing through the middle or off the left. Again he would offer some quality on the ball.

Matija Nastasic, 30 left sided centre back who has played his full career in top 5 leagues. Could bring some experience to our back line.

Reggie Cannon, 25 US international full back, his move to Boavista hasn’t worked out but he was highly rated when he moved from MLS.

Han-Noah Massengo, 22 centre midfielder who is clearly talented but not fully fulfilled his potential yet. Good on the ball has a good engine and can put the foot in too. Someone Rodgers could get the best out.

Josh Maja, 24 much like Massengo long been touted as having big potential since being at Sunderland, started to show glimpses last year in Ligue 2. Is good at dropping deep and linking play. He is actually a forward I could see linking well playing just off Kyogo as when Kyogo goes in behind he can take the ball in as another option drawing defenders to him.

Surely we would look at Ainsley Maitland-Niles. Would be ideal short term cover at right back for AJ then would be a good 8 potentially for us

I would definitely take a punt on Maja. Mentioned him a few months ago in this thread, then not long after he was linked with the huns. Thankfully he won’t be going there because I think he would be a far better option than the players they have brought in.

Not sure if its been mentioned but if Arsenal are signing that keeper from Brentford I wouldnt be opposed to us going for Matt Turner.

17 year old currently playing in the A League. 8 goals in 35 at 17 is pretty * good.

Has 11 in 7 for the Aussie under 17’s.

Been linked to Bayern a lot but they haven’t pulled the trigger yet.

Rafa Borre from Frankfurt? Would of thought he was way out our price range but being linked with Olympiacos

Can play anywhere across the front, and scored the winning pen v huns

TBH, he's a feistier Maeda. Unless Daizen leaves, we can't accommodate him since we'd have 2 very similar players. Great player, mind.

For left back Kristoffer Lund of BK Hacken, 21 year old Danish left back. He has been involved as youth international for Denmark and won the league title last year in Sweden with BK Hacken. Despite turning 21 back in May he already has the best part of two seasons senior football under his belt. He is over 6 foot, quick, strong defensively and good overlapping and getting forward.

Stats wise Lund has 10 assists in 45 league games over the last two seasons, his 6 assists in 27 last year was a team high. His cross completion and dribbling stats are also strong. He has good passing stats too. His interception and blocks stats were also high with his defensive duel success rate both on the ground and aerially being above average for the league. I would imagine he would be available for around £3m as he has 18 months left on his current deal.

I believe he would be a good fit for our current team given his height, pace and ability to defend and get forward. All be it a move to us would represent a step up but he has had the pressure of closing out a title in Sweden as good experience he would bring with him. From our perspective I believe he fits our recruitment profile well, a player in his early 20’s but having plenty of exposure to senior football, involved in his national youth set up and available at a relatively low price with big sell on potential.
