I wonder if there was any scenario in which we would have been able to keep him longer. His rise to the top seems inevitable. Shame we only got to see him in the Hoops twice. Hope he becomes a star for Scotland.

He’s absolutely killing it just now great to see

 

It's hard to argue that Ange/Celtic should have done anything different. Giving a 16 year old minutes against Rangers is not exactly a common occurrence. We showed him he was valued, but it's looking like he has made the right choice, based on his trajectory.

I can see him being the wild card pick for Scotland at the Euros next year. The way Patterson and Gilmour were at the last Euros.

 

Love him, what a player. Buzzing to see him smashing it down there.

I'd have him in the next Scotland squad 100%.

 

Aye the next step for him is minutes for the Scotland first team

He 100% should be in the squad, a serious lack of wingers in the NT.

 

He's not really done anything yet. He'll be a good player I'm sure, but he's nowhere near deserving of a call-up.

I know it worked with Gilmour and Patterson but * me, a call up to senior national level should never be considered the "next step" for someone whos not even played 90 mins of senior football.

 

I think he could do well in one of those 10 roles that play behind the striker. We badly lack someone direct with pace and skill, could do some damage playing off Dykes for example. Still, would be a new role for him to learn.

He's such a talent though I'd have him in the squad regardless, 100%. Other nations do this, blooding their best talent early, and it bears fruit. We should follow suit.

 

Aye because all our quality is in centre mid and left backs, would still be good to have the option though and use his pace. The only options we’ve got outwide just now are really Forrest who rarely gets a call up now, then Armstrong and Christie who are attacking mids.

Some wide options would be nice and only real options there are youths.

 

That's where Fraser played some of his best football off the striker for Scotland..

Wouldn't be surprised if the likes of. Mebude ends up in a similar role under Clarke....and Doak no too long after..
