Another shout for goalkeeper would be Clermont Foot’s Mory Diaw. He is 30 but seems to be a late developer a bit like Andries Noppert in Holland.

He is a big guy Diaw and very agile, he comes for crosses, makes good saves and is decent with the ball at his feet. He performed brilliantly last year in ligue 1 helping his team come 8th and having the best statistical performance for xG prevented.

He only has a year left on his current deal and would be worth asking the question off.



See for all the chat about struggling to find someone good enough to replace Hart in our budget there are a lot of good keepers who have contract situations we could afford.

Then add the likes of Luiz Junior from Famalicao.

All of the above would likely be available for £5m or less and some of them like Wahlstedt considerably less, there is talk of him going to Brondby and his deal is up at the end of the year.

 

Surprised we haven't had anyone like this considering the managers knowledge of the game down here, former academy coach and the amount of top clubs he's been at..

That Hugo Vetlesen from Bodo Glint went to Club Brugge for 6 mill this month would of made a fine addition....Vetlesen Mcgregor Hatate as the midfield

 

Would be wary of signing Bodo players, they've all flopped outside of Knutsen's system.

Him, Zalazar, who went to Braga for 4.5m and Jean Onana who just joined Besiktas for under 4m would've sorted our midfield out for under 15m and set us up for life after MOR and Hatate.

Kamada would.be great, but he's getting linked with west ham, Inter Milan etc so I can't see it.

Adama Traore I do not rate, his numbers are pish, Daizen Maeda is a far better player in the same style.

 

AC Milan wanted Kamada, but gave up due to limited non-EU player slots. Now Inter want him?

 

I had a look online apparently inter and west ham not interested.

what may happen is we may sit tight and see what players on our list dont move, could perhaps make our offer more attractive to the player.

 

Now, as much as the thought of Kamada in the Hoops gives me a stauner, we would need some people to leave, since he'll command the lion's share of playing time. O'Riley and Turnbull, for example. Or Hakšabanović instead of one of these.

 

Surely we could go for that?
