I think he'll turn out very good based on the little I've seen from him and a hunch. Interesting that he referred to himself as a right winger in the interview though. To me looks more suited on the left.

 

Exciting signing, think he'll do very well. Noticed how 2 footed he is in the videos, happy carrying the ball on either and confident shooting from distance on either. Will make him extremely dangerous.

Back in the day you could name the Celtic starting 11 nae bother..........easy names like Peter Grant or Tommy Burns or Paul McStay. I love whats happening with the asian mob coming in and the majority of them are good players and even better than their Scottish equivalents.................but I can see it happening when Ive no got a clue who the * will be playing for Celtic on the Saturday.

Fan video so not great quality and only shows a few highlights, but he looks unreal, wee flicks and tricks, close control, sets up a goal. He'll do nicely.

 

The confidence is ripping out of him man. Absolutely buzzing to see him in action.

How does it feel to be a Celtic player?

I am very excited. I was always looking for this day and I am so happy that I feel like I am still in a dream.

Did you speak to Oh Hyeon-gyu before joining?

Yes. Oh and I have always been good friends. He gave me some good advice such as that I have to be more independent to become strong mentally as a player.

Did you watch Oh playing for Celtic while you were in South Korea and did that inspire you?

Yes. I watched a few matches of Oh and I saw one of his goals where he celebrated and that moment was both inspiring and motivating.

Are you looking forward to scoring some goals and helping the team win trophies?

I always like stadiums full of fans and I am sure the fans will inspire me to be better offensively.

Can you tell us when you first met Oh?

I first met him before the World Cup. I am kind of a shy person but Oh was very friendly and he was taking care of me. He was making some jokes and we went to some cafes and restaurants.

Are you looking forward to Oh and others helping you settle in?

Oh and Kwon will both take good care of me and I think they are good examples of good players and I am sure I can learn a lot from them and I am sure I can settle in.

What are your biggest strengths?

One of my strengths is dribbling. I am a very team-driven person. When there is an open space, I always try to offer offensive chances and I also try to be involved defensively.

When did you first hear about Celtic's interest?

It was not easy given the situation with my former club but it was definitely worth waiting for.

Was it important for you to be here for the start of the season?

A lot of players and coaches around me in Korea gave advice that it might be a bit more difficult to adapt in winter so they recommended transferring in summer.

What are you most excited about playing for Celtic?

I am very excited to meet the new manager and team-mates and train with them. I am also looking forward to seeing the fans
