We were reminiscing about the sonic attack thread in The Huddle and I liked your post before remembering it was 10 years ago

 

Honestly, whenever the conversation turns to players who have done alright, are decent enough but need to be upgraded if we ever want to do anything in Europe, Starfelt is my first thought. Joe Hart isn't far behind, though.

 

I'm not being funny, but we ridiculed this idea when it was floated just before the Juve game and then later closed the thread and we've done nothing in Europe ever since. #cause #effect

 

I never ridiculed it. Thought it was genius at the time and the OP will be proved right in years to come.

 

So we've got this fella after only 1 proper senior season going off his club list, if he turns out a star what a find.

 

He's played 2 full seasons at Legia.

Nawrocki will still need to prove himself to replace Starfelt but I know what you mean they will get the chances and be in the match day squad. Just meaning more established players and who go straight into the starting 11. We clearly aren’t going as aggressive in the market as was being reported early on but surely we are still going to make atleast one signing £6m+.
