Hopefully we are in for him with a loan back. Max Johnston that just left them is someone we could actually make quite an attractive offer to just now.

Our main right full back is out for the first month of the season and his back up is also injured giving him a chance to stake a claim. We will also have 3 games a week for most of the first half of the season so he would be guaranteed game time if he plays well.

Further to that if Alastair Johnston keeps going the way he is he will be gone next summer letting Max have a shot at claiming the starting place permanently. Anytime I saw him he impressed me a good athlete and a decent all round player both on the ball and getting forward.

Santiago Hezze, 21 year old centre midfielder who is equally comfortable as the deepest lying midfielder in a single or double pivot formation. He is an excellent defensive player in terms of interceptions, positionally and tackling. Not the giant CDM a lot of us want but has a relentless work rate and very good understanding of the game for only being 21 along with great mobility and is still around 5’10 so not tiny.

He is also good in possession and press resistant. He doesn’t tend to dribble much but is good at moving the ball on and moving into space to receive the return. He also has a nice range of passing and is happy to split the centre backs and get it forward quickly which would be advantageous with the likes of Abada, Maeda and Kyogo in our attack.

Anderlecht are meant to be close to a deal so may be too late but it has been reported between €4-8m, I am guessing there must be add ons associated to have such a wide range.

Recommended him on this thread back in May. He's an extremely aggressive player.

 

He looks a very mature player for his age, all be it in short video clips but the scouting report on him backs up what you see.
