Spider man Miles Morales. Never been a massive fan of the game series but so far this one is holding me

    Nearly finished re4 remake

Never played the original but absolutely loving this remake mainly due to the gunplay which I think is the most satisfying 3rd person shooter I've ever played.
Much longer than I thought it would be too and I'll probably jump straight into NG+ after I beat it.

Technically it's not on the same level as the dead space remake which looks incredible and also has satisfying combat but Im enjoying re4 more tbh, very addictive.

I enjoyed the original although it didn't feel at all like Resi. Will get this at some point. Playing through Sleeping Dogs at the moment, very good GTA clone set in Hong Kong. Satisfying marial arts fighting. Was one I missed back in the day.

Played that back in the day too and then during lockdown aswell, great game.
One of the many games that I wished got a sequel or the remake treatment.

Yeah finished RE4 remake on Saturday its amazing, was lucky enough to play the original back in the day so had high hopes, this one is way more challenging but you get used to it.

Wana get the chicago typewriter & shred the * out of NG+.

Really enjoying Spider-Man Remastered on PC. About 75% through the story.

    That game was absolutely brilliant.

They also brought out a vampire dlc or something like that too.

Started playing Star Wars Republic Commando and Neverwinter Nights Shadows OF The Undrentide this weekend and making good progress on both, been completing a lot of retro games over the past few months and have had more enjoyment out the older games than recent releases.

I’ve not played any of the games you mentioned but I agree. Older games were simpler. Straight forward, get from point A to point B sort of stuff which I like. Newer games have a lot of fannying about for want of a better term.

Not really a gamer these days anyway, just play Trackmania or FIFA with my mates the odd time.

My laptop ain't too great but have been playing Sid Meiers Pirates again on occasions.

Also noticed a emulator site on my phone so will try that on lappy too as quite fancy playing an old Amiga game Lost Patrol. Need a keyboard for it.

First story game I’ve played for years and it’s surprisingly brilliant. Wasn’t sure I’d be able to get into it but really enjoying it. Progressively challenging but not too tough and plenty of nostalgia thrown in with a good story line. Highly recommend for any old school Gameboy Pokémon fans.

Edit: Just in case you’re not aware, it’s a sort of Pokemon origins story. You’re cast back in time and tasked with creating the first Pokédex. There’s crafting in this which I’m usually not a fan of. Turned me right off the Witcher because I just cannot be arsed learning how to craft all of these different things but this game makes it easy and it’s enjoyable going around collecting the things you need for pokeballs, potions and revivals etc

@Callum McGregor you play this one yet mate?

Had a 20 quid PS gift card there from my birthday so decided to buy a few games.

First one....* Alex Kidd in miracle world. Could not believe it when I seen it in the store :giggle1:

Also went for Tom Clancys Ghost Recon Breakpoint, which looks good, Tennis World Tour, and one I hadn't seen before...Metro Exodus. This one looks class.

Playing a marathon Anno 1800 every expansion, on hard. Like spinning plates whilst juggling and doing keepy uppies at the same time. Helping keeping me busy coming off meds though which is a good thing.

Alex Kidd in Miracle World takes me back.

All my friends had PlayStations but we couldn’t afford one so my granny got me a Sega Megadrive. It was one of the games built into the console.

Pain in the * to complete. I remember buying a bike and getting a helicopter or something, and having to win rock paper scissors duels… even if you won the bosses would still try to kill you.

Is that free to download anywhere? Really wanted to get it but bought odyssey instead. High end gaming rig, but micro stutters like * such bad optimisation.
