Celtic tops 24/25

The home kit has grown on me tbh. Up close it still looks odd but on the players there's something cool about it. I like the shade of green and the black stripes too.

 

Looks half decent on them because they’re athletes.Wee pale faced ginger weans and big fat guys in their 40’s cutting about town wearing it will look tragic.It is tragic.The shirt is an abomination and a dark moment in our history.

 

When does the 3rd top officially go on sale?

Loved the commentator bigging up the home jersey, the sales team must be telling him to get sales up. Your nae kidding us son!

 

Does anyone know a store anywhere in Yorkshire where the home shirt is sold? Want to see it in person before I decide if purchasing it. Hated it at first, but as others have said, it's kinda growing on me.

You'd think so mate, but I went I to my local JD and asked why its not stocked and no-one could give me an answer. Used to be able to walk into any sports shop down here and buy a Celtic top, not anymore though.

 

Starting to quite like it

 

Definitely changed perspective when I saw it in natural light, from a little bit of a distance... From over 20feet or so away the hoops just look like they're normal hoops, with a distinctive shading. Once I broke that hoodoo, I was able to look at it close-up without immediately recoiling, and noticed that the black contrast on the Adidas lines looked ok.

Definitely worth seeing in the flesh, because the pics on media did it zero favours whatsoever

 

Nope! Gotta be honest mate, seeing it worn out in the street was what changed my mind... Just normal lads, bouncing about on Sauchiehall Street... It looks way better in the flesh than on the websites and papers

 

Home kit, black stripes are way too prominent.

Also * is that red * on the goalie strip, boak

 

The black stripes just add to how bad the kit is. It's even worse on the long sleeve version where they go right down the arm.

 

I used to but that was years ago. Id just buy it online from JD, if you don't like it return to the store.
There are 2 JD sports on Oxford St and an Adidas store. You can buy Fulham, Leicester, Wolves and Leeds * but not Celtic.

 

Maybe not the new tops but you can get some older training gear and last seasons kits at the Adidas outlet at Xscape Castleford. I live nearby and have got some cheap bargains out of there before.

 

I did notice that when i was there last mate. Junction 32 is not a bad place tbh.

I’ve mixed feelings on the home one but will probably buy it eventually. Not too keen on the away one - the black and green one was much nicer. The 3rd one is class - best alternative kit we’ve had in years, cool as *.

 

The long sleeved version of the home kit looks horrific but I think the short sleeved version has fully grown on me.
