I know some would refer to me as one so is what it is.

Facts are we need 2 or 3 players quality players yet and time is very much ticking.

Never understand those fans who are happy with just waiting and seeing and then making a huge deal when we do finally sign a player. This is what we should be doing so why the cheers or make a deal out of it? You don't clap a pilot when he lands an aeroplane do you? Some on here probably do mind you ha.

We signed 5 players, so we've hardly been inactive..

Yes, they can all be considered projects, to various degrees most signings are to an extent..all young all with potential..

Would take another project that could play CB and cover RB..

Then the next signings should be next level signings and must have some real pedigree, even the panic merchants must realise these players will have different options and are trickier to get over the line..

Nicholson has proved he knows what he's doing and has earned a bit of patience.

GK, LB, C/DM, LW - That's where I want real starting quality brought in.

Hopefully two potential starters in before Ross County. Two weeks today....preferably GK and ML first.

JucoJames doesn’t watch games. He was right about Scott Brown but he was claiming Barkas was better than Hart. Comes out with a serious amount of waffle.

Aye and a bunch of other waffle. Alan Morrison on the other hand is alright, Celtic daft and fairly balanced. Don’t always agree with himeither but you’re never going to.

I think we need a goalkeeper and someone to replace Jota. If we get two big signings in these areas I’ll be happy enough for this window.

I think people are underestimating how big Jota was for us. We simply must replace him with quality.

Better to take time and get the right guys in rather than rush signings just for the sake of it.

The key thing is to trust the manager and recruitment team.

Problem is mate, we were all as para as you after the 'ten' season, doom and gloom expecting the worst, bringing in an unknown guy fae Australia who got absolutely slaughtered. As did the board for putting us in the position we found ourselves in.

But guess what? It turned out the people running the club knew what they were doing. They got their * together and delivered big time. We're now learning big lessons from that * show of a season, and are in the process of making ourselves a club that can compete at the highest level in European club football.

The vast majority of * on here understand that, as much as we all like a wee moan at times. But you need to seriously re-evaluate your approach here, all you ever post is endless * about how bad we are at doing business, as if the suits are deliberately trying to * us over for no apparent reason. Have a bit of faith in your club, we're all in the same boat here...fans and staff alike.

Normally I'd just scroll on by but the Mrs retired to her bed and left me to fend for myself, so thought I'd try calm you the fuxk down once and for all :giggle1:

Feeling more positive about the whole thing today.

Goalkeepers - post that tour, there can be no debate we need a keeper in. This needs to and will happen. We will keep Hart in place and phase him out. Bain will stay for the Scottish part in Europe as a definite 3rd choice. Hart will leave next summer and stay as a positive influence and for some smaller matches. Probably best offloading Siegrist but his wages won't be much I'd imagine.

Defenders - the real gap now is DL, we can survive with Taylor up until end of the window - so we have time and I'm not too worried just now. Iwata can also do a job at right back inverting so I'm positive about having more options there too, now. Centre-back I would loan Yuki domestically, he clearly is decent on the ball it's purely the physicality part of it - loan to Hibs, or Aberdeen would suit him to see if he can cut it outwith the pressure of us. Cost nothing so not really much of a loss either way.

Central Midfield - think here we do need someone that is first team ready - again we can get by as we've got options and the Champions League is a good bit of time away. This will make us stronger than last year in this area. Holm looks like he'll progress, Kwown is a punt in all honesty so can't really hang anything on him other than hope. Iwata has had a proper preseason and will be more settled.

Wide Attackers - still need one as a Jota replacement that is simply first team ready.

Strikers - we are fine, Oh looks on it, Kyogo is Kyogo, and Maeda looks like he's about to go up another level. If anything we are in a better place than where we were at the end of last season.

You say the board knew what they were doing let's be completely honest we wanted Howe and we allowed him to * us about and then * as about some more. Ange got called lucky by huns which is nonsense of course but we were the lucky ones to get him after putting all our eggs in the Howe basket.

There is nothing wrong with me expecting more it's the way football is these days if you don't move forward you get left behind.

I don't doubt more signings will come in but it needs to be done sooner rather than later and it should be expected given our current position and plans with manager etc.

Some on here expect us all to get a stiffy whenever we do the slightest wee thing. Na * that it's what we should be doing anyway.

You might not believe It but i love the club as much as anyone else I can just see the bigger picture as I've not always got my green specs on.

Rodgers pretty much said on Friday that the plan now is to look for first team impact players.

He's said in the press a few times now these players are with an eye to the future.

    Part in bold.

Why does it need to be done sooner rather than later? We don't have qualifiers. And we are about to sign another 3 so barring Jota and Johnston being injured, the squad that starts the season will be the same as the one that ended.

We don't play the Huns until after the window has shut.

Rodgers needed time to assess the players in person. If we are really targeting better quality then these transfers don't happen over night.

The fact we have a lot of money could work against us too as selling clubs know this. Having the cash doesn't instantly mean transfers magically take a lesser time to sort. Arguably makes it tougher to negotiate.

I've been frustrated as well but there's no point worrying because we can't do anything about it. I trust we will get it done. Still over a month to go.

In regards to strikers, I think we can afford to wait at least until January but big question mark for me still over Oh.

A lot of moulding to be done there. Wouldn't mind someone else in a bit more proven but the difficulty is finding someone willing to play second fiddle. Least for a spell.

I think we need another striker, would be a concern if Kyogo got injured and was out for a few weeks.

I'd like to see some investment in the B team as well, we've not had anything for them coming in yet

Your expectations come across as someone who absolutely doesn’t get the bigger picture.
