    Agree with this.

    He's unreal in that inverted role for the most part. But if we are going back to the old fashioned approach then we shall see. As the last time he played there regularly he wasn't impressive.

    But then again, he's improved as a player since. Shall see.

    As much as I'm a huge critic of Rodgers, one thing he excels at is developing players.

    He rejuvenated Broony to playing some of the best football of his career. McGregor, KT, et al, it's difficult to say where their careers would be at this stage without his input and development.

    I'm willing to wait and see if he can get the kid up and running.

    Under Ange there would be no question, he'd be done. Same with Lennon, and even the likes of Strachan and MoN would find it difficult to get a song from this bird.
    But Rodgers is a different level when it comes to man management and player development.

    It's the one thing I'm pleased about with his "return".

    He is a player that never kicked on under Ange.
    I suspect a few players will turn the corner and kick on under BR-and reckon Benny will, along with Siegrist.
    I dont hold out much hope for the likes of Walsh, Mickey J, Scales.

    Come on. Did you see him square that ball to absolutely no one? That's nothing to do with managers, that's just him having the IQ of a amoeba. I'd hope he's being offered to anyone and everyone. Need another LB.

    If we’re going to Ibrokes with GT out I’d genuinely much rather play Scales at left back (and I don’t think he’s good enough for us) that’s where I am with Berna.

    It would be an almighty shift for him to stake a proper claim this season.

    You're probably right. However he's been capped at U23 for Argentina so he must have some ability.

    Match that with the desire, some coaching and a big dose of confidence, then who knows.
