So do I but I live in hope.

I'm not expecting all that this window but even if we could get 4 in this window and 3 in the next etc.

I could maybe see us dip in the January market for a LB and another CM.

An entire window crying out for a LB, run it back :BR1:

id be much happier if we signed yer man tete ,think iwata is good enough to cover the loss of mooy . id have more confidence in tete making up for loss of jota only then will we actually look like we are in a position to strengthen the team . our midfield options seem odd ,holm and kwon look to have been signed for the sake of having them instead of a particular need for them ,cant see any starting ahead of mcgregor, hatate, oriley or iwata unless some of them are sold ,infact it makes it more likely. think that young dutch cb would leave the defence in a healthier position

I doubt its as quiet behind the scenes.

So my throught process is we have made moves for 3 or 4, with offers on the table.
I think we will see 2 or 3 big transfers into the club.

Due to the lack of club trained and Scottish players in the squad capable of competing in the champions league, I'd be very interested in Rodgers 17 non Scottish players he selects for europe.

Quite a few won't make that list

Korean double announcement or maybe have them a couple days apart to drag the week out a bit.

Brendan Rodgers has already spoken with some Celtic squad players who will move on this summer.

The Hoops manager is keen to streamline his squad with a bloated number of fringe men filling the outfit. A number of players are likely to depart before the beginning of the new season while others will find clubs before the end of the transfer deadline in late August. Rodgers has revealed he has already begun those chats with some of the playing staff following his early pre-season assessment

We told you that the Northern Irishman, 50, wanted to see his full squad in training before making any decisions but now he has confirmed some plans are already in motion

We will be looking to trim the squad," Rodgers said. "That will be the natural process. I’ve already spoken to a couple of players and I’m sure I will do over the course of pre-season

You have to be honest with players. Even if it’s a tough conversation, it’s the most humane way and the most direct way to tell them the plan.

“If that’s to move on and get playing football, then that’s what they have to do. Those conversations have already started but it will continue over the next few weeks.

Surely if the Croatia GK was a genuine link and we were willing to pay that cash on a keeper this summer there are other options in the same bracket? Or is it the case we were sure he would hit the ground running given his ability and others in that price bracket would be a risk after the Barkas situation?

Squad definitely needs a major cull

    Ajeti
    Soro
    Osaze
    Shaw
    McCarthy
    Welsh
    Bernabei
    Siegrist
    Scales
    Turnbull

    All need sold

Not really. I think regardless those players need to go.

Don't think our remaining business will be reliant on shifting the players.

Without hearing the full interview he could have been asked about the fringe players or squad size and this has been his reply. Then will be made into him saying need to sell before we buy.

Still think there's likely an interest in Keller at Liverpool. Hed definitely be in that price bracket

Hmmm that's what I mean tho are others in the bracket too risky? Not seen all that much of him but seen him get beat with some shots you'd want a keeper to save in his sleep. Loan to buy would be safer but then you risk him having a great season and going elsewhere.

We definitely do not need to sell before we buy FFS. We have plenty of transfer funds.

Outgoings in the context he’s speaking of is based on players not being good enough.

Rumours Kelleher from Liverpool might be on his way to wolves. £20m for a reserve keeper, who has played only a small handful of games for them in 4 years as a senior pro.

Obviously the lad has talent, but the money down there is really bonkers. Shame as he might have been an ideal signing for us even on loan.

I think that's an insane price, I could understand if Liverpool had sent him out on loan and he'd done well but at the moment he's only played about 30 games including internationals.

I think a lot of us are understandably getting a wee bit nervous due to what has happened in the past around transfers however, I think that we now keep things very much on the quiet side and then bring in a few surprises. It's like Christmas when we are not surprised when get the usual pants and socks but then open up the last present to see someone has bought us the new Celtic (away) top

Well over £100k in wages per week there too.

I'd loan Bernabei to a British side. Or Dutch.
