    First time I’ve watched a game and thought Djokovic looked his age. It was like watching an old Djokovic play a younger version of himself at times.

    Djokovic is still an absolute demon by the way in terms of a player. Gave Alcaraz a doing in France earlier this summer too. He's going nowhere even if I can't stand his on-court antics when he's losing.

    He is still top level and will win a slam or 2 more but his game when playing Alcaraz is now based on using his experience as opposed to playing him off the court with quality.

    He tried every conman trick in the book today and was still beat. Alcaraz was the aggressor pretty much the entire match.

    Heard this stat this morning on the drive to work. Djokovic had won the previous 104 slam matches where he won the first set. Unreal. Really shows how well Alcaraz done to win that.

    Arguably the most difficult slam to defend given its position in the tennis calendar. Getting towards the tail end of the season where some players are suffering injuries or are tiring.
