    We can’t buy the well known star footballers, it’s way out out price range. In the main our scouting has to be better than the teams with megabucks to identify up and coming talent from areas maybe they ignore. Kyogo, Hatate, Maeda and Oh have turned out none too shabby.

    While I don't agree that they uninspiring we have to be honest we haven't signed or had any strong links to anybody who would improve our team. Also Ideguchi, Iwata and Yuki have not impressed. Let's be honest, the season starts in 3 weeks and we've lost Jota and Mooy with CCV and Johnston potentially not starting the season. The club needs to get it's * in gear.

    Hate to say it, but this guy seems like the Jota replacement. We are capped at 17 non-homegrown players in Europe. As things stand right now, we are at 19 players. Not enough space to sign another winger.

    I hope we know what we are doing knowing full well the Asian Cup means most of our forward line plus potential midfielders and defender could be out of action in January?

    Not a slight on the new fella, whom I know nothing about, but we need to be really careful here.

    Apples and pears a wee bit there. Kyogo and Maeda were established stars in their league and established internationals as well.

    I dont think anyone can be blamed for feeling a bit underwhelmed so far. I dont think any of these signings will realisticslly come in and improve the quality of the starting XI, which given our position of strength, is what many are hoping for.
