    I suggested him myself bit if its a choice between him and Livakovic then it's a no brainer.

    For the sake of someone being better with the ball.

    One was the best GK at the world Cup the other hasn't played a competitive first team game in football.

    Age doesn't really matter in a keeper either. I'd rather one ar 28 than 22.

    Yeah I agree that £24M isn't realistic but given keepers have a longer career and peak later, it's feasible to take anything north of £6/£7m.

    All for this signing if there is any truth in this one

    I don’t even think we would get that but I don’t really care. He could be our next goalkeeper for 7/8 years. If we buy him for £8m, we should keep him until he decides to leave or we buy someone younger.

    If we did manage to get 7 years out of him, it’s more than likely he could be the difference for us in terms of European progression.!

    The business model of buying cheap and selling expensively has spread in the minds of many like cancer. Results matter first, and if a player with low resale value can help us get them, then we should be chuffed to have him.

    As you've said, we haven't got Dominik yet. Would be a massive signing- if we can put in a solid bid, and not haggle a la Lawwell.
