The wee fella is utter class.

If we sign a number 10 that spots the runs he makes all day, then we’re in for a good season.

His willingness to make runs and not get found, yet continue to run in to space all day, is his best attribute. Perseverance.

His unselfish attitude is unheard of in most top strikers. You’ll never see the wee man fling his arms in the air for not getting the ball.

When he scores he’ll congratulate the guy who’s assisted him though.

 

If Griffiths didn't outscore Kyogo (given he played 180 more matches) then it would be concerning. Kyogo has a superior goals per game record both domestically (much better than 1 in 2) and in Europe (1 in 3).

His record isn't par for the course. He has a better hit rate than any striker we've had in the last 15 years - other than Hooper.

Nobody is mentioning him in the same breath as Larsson. Some are saying they think he's the best striker we've had since Larsson - not that he's anywhere near as good.

Anything else you want to get wrong?

First one I can remember us wearing as a wean.

 

Me too, although I think we wore the 95-97 one in the cup final we won, which was the first trophy we won while supporting Celtic.

 

I remember the first week the original "bumblebee top" came out for the 96'/97' season and it was like everybody everywhere had it. Every guy and his son had that top. It was actually awesome at the time. But it possibly hasnt aged well in a fashion sense. Its not a retro top that you could easily wear

 

I've still got the bumblebee somewhere. I'm still not sure if it was a good kit or not, certainly memorable.

 

Let’s get CCV, Reo, AJ, and MO’R tied down too. And with a couple more additions we’ll stroll this league again and do some damage in the Champions League.
