Already seems like overkill in the winger department. Jota has left a gaping hole in terms of quality though. Obviously Jun and Tilio are unproven, but looking at that list, there's an argument that none of those players are good enough to be first choice.

We need to prioritise quality over quantity at this point. Every year it feels like our squad gets more and more bloated with mediocrity.

Never rated McTominay when seeing him for Man Utd but he's been different class for Scotland. Not sure if he's allowed more freedom or whatever, but something changes in a Scotland team.

 

could see maeda going , can’t see him fitting into the way Rodger’s will play , also could see tillio and haksa playing more central

 

I think he’s a decent attacking player as thats what he started is career as (striker) but obviously isn’t suited to being a CDM which is really what we need.

Nah mate, completely patching it. Nicholson and Lawwell Jr are just sat by the phone waiting on answers from the two players that @Blochairnbhoy has said and absolutely definitely not working on anything else at all in the background.

Agents are two faced * as well; they’ll tell you to your face that their client is ready to sign on the dotted line while simultaneously trying to find a better deal elsewhere. Even when Celtic think they’re right on the cusp, it’s probably 50/50 at best.
