All over red rover... How much of that Bairstow dismissal comes back to the disallowed catch yesterday? A fair catch ruled not on a technicality, so why not a stumping on a techincality? What's good for one... but still... oh boy... Sounds like the Members were carrying on when the players went in at lunch also.

And for the rest of the series what does this mean? Constant short pitched fast bowling? Mankats? (Not that I have a issue with Mankats) etc

Got to disagree taz, Bairstow was out and so was the catch ruled out correctly, going by the rules, not a technicality. The rest of it being just a short pitched game, I’m worried as well, that was painful yesterday watching England bowl 3 hours of it. That was a mob in there at lunch time, stewards actually standing between members and the Aussies, but that will get ignored unlike if it happens at Leeds next game. What’s a Mankats…..you got me on that one lol :50:

England and wales women’s team have never played a test at lords. Eton v Harrow have played each other there for over 200 years. They said that the fixture would be dropped but the members are still stalling on it.

    I’ll stop ranting now lol….

Had to laugh at the Bairstow dismissal. Get it right up them. Broad is a clown as well. The English pundits are now moaning about the way Australia have approached the games so far, saying they are scared to go head to head and try and play the same way as England as they might lose. Is that not the whole point of any sport? Try and counteract your opponent to give yourself the best chance to win the game. One pundit even saying he would rather be 2-0 down in the series playing Bazball. You can feel the pain.

Not sure if you're being tongue in cheek or if genuinely don't follow the sport etc, but it's been in use for years - and teams have (depending on the format) a number of reviews that they can have, if they don't agree with the onfield umpire's decision to a 3rd (tv umpire) to review and can use technology (such as ball tracking, hotspot and additional sound detectors etc) to ensure decisions are correct.

I might take a wee interest in the cricket game between england and the Aussies since it's been spiced up a bit. Can't get away that that incident continues to make headline news, not only in the sports channels, but also the main national news.

Hot start in the 3rd Test, with both Australian openers out. Warner out to Broad first over of the game and Wood bowling 95mph+ has been unplayable and just blown Khawaja away.

Also, Scotland could qualify for the World Cup today. They've set the Netherlands 271 on a tricky pitch.

Watching the ashes is like watching 7 hours of constant 20/20 cricket ,especially today.

Yeah, another big day... 13 wickets and 330 odd runa. Good day's entertainment for those at the game. Mark Wood with some serious, serious heat out there and Mitch Marsh 100, and then Australia hgitting back taking those 3 wickets. There is talk of a lot of weather forecast for Sunday and Monday, but at the rate this game is going atm...
