    I hope the sun doesn’t go down on his career? Apparently he told the Saudis “I’m your man!” and they asked if he had a partner and they’d give her everything she wants. He’s no bad boy and I’m sure that he will be granted his freedom.

    This puts Celtic under pressure to announce a big signing within the week I think, which they probably should do anyway really but when you lose of your best people will expect more than an A league player.

    Will miss him and scored some very crucial goals for us. Could argue he was one of the main players that won the league for us.

    I think in the end its too much for him to turn down and think the board would have asked him to go as well with the fee being offered

    Probably won't to be fair. I think it's more noticable for us when our best players are defenders or midfielders. We can always get away with guys like Stokes, Commons, Roberts and that in attacking areas who maybe aren't that good a level but have enough skill or quality about them they score and create plenty.

    An entertainer with a guaranteed end product of assists and vital goals in big moments.

    Works incredibly hard, great attitude, team player, great touch and close control, is brave and takes responsibility on the pitch.

    Everything you need as a Celtic player.

    Goals against the Huns, Real and Leipzig too so he wasn't just scoring past a Jim Goodwin team. The fact he looked good on both sides of the wing too always helped.
