Folk talking about others and how they'd react in certain situations, you've no idea what's going on in other peoples heads or lives, and you'll just need to take my word for it, if I was playing for Celtic getting paid 20-30 grand a week or whatever, and I was given the option of moving to Saudi Arabia and playing in their league, in that climate, in that environment, for hundreds of thousands a week etc, I wouldn't be interested. Depends on your mindset I suppose, but don't assume everyone thinks the way you do.

Will be disappointed if he leaves, but won't lose sleep. We'll move on as we've done before.

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it a million times. If a player doesn’t want to be here then punt, no point hanging on to someone that doesn’t want to be here.

Yeah let’s all be happy that arguably our best player is taking the Saudi filthy Lira from a country with a vile human rights record that has caused horrendous human suffering. What a laugh, let’s all celebrate!

    It's not being silly.

The Portuguese manager will still have his eyes on that league with 3 or 4 players in it.

Doesn't matter what age Ronaldo is until he retires.

We are victims from the ripple effect in football if nuno was a success at Tottenham ange would still be our manager …. Nuno wouldn’t be in saudi and chasing our player

Imagine the Chinese super league was still powerful enough to attract top players

Or the MLS was all about getting the big name players again

Saudi Arabia is taking over and that’s where the party’s at

MLS outside some mental Americanism’s like no relegation has steadily built itself into a decent league by largely ditching aging superstar payouts, they got the attention with it at first. Now they just try and attract guys who are at a decent level, GG being a good example.

They aren’t spectacular but steadily building up the quality.

Benzema and Ronaldo? Jota is twenty four those two are nearly FOURTY for FFS. Aye he will really enjoy himself at the Saudi retirement home (and yes he is making a lot of money, we get it). As I say you’re not exactly the brightest are you!

Saudi appear to be doing with their football what they are doing with golf. Big names to draw an audience and young talent to build the brand.

It makes me throw up in my mouth tbh.

We call some leaders evil for certain stuff and rightly so but see no problem with turning a blind eye elsewhere when it suits.

    Wildly off topic here.

People are annoyingly thick and naive.

Anyone that plays with Celtic - great guy.

Same guys when they leave Celtic to better their life or career - *.

They must be safe in the knowledge that the eleven guys that they support every week at any given time will at some stage become * to them, barring a few exceptions.

Mental how so many people take things so personal when it comes to people who represent our club. They have a career to look after, get over it. He gave us great moments and earned us 15m+

The audacity of this * cabbage calling anyone thick..

200 bags week, sets up his family for generations and can be back playing top European football before he even reaches his peak years:56:

    It’s so embarrassing.

Some of our fans think they own our players.

The common denominator is generally they have no perspective of football outside of Scotland, or catch the odd game in England.
