Where might one find this table while they're all dithering?

Why is there always a table?

It don’t think it really works like that any more, particularly with big transfers.

The selling club will be aware of negotiations between the players agent and the buying club being done simultaneously with their own negotiations for the transfer fee.

Obviously it would be different if Celtic have said Jota isn’t for sale at any price.

But, if Celtic have given Jota’s agent an indication that they would sell for X amount, and the Saudi opening bid isn’t a million miles away from that figure, then I’d presume we’ve given permission for them to speak whilst the clubs agree a fee.

I think as well as the money Ronaldo was looking to increase his goalscoring record.

The more people and sports that get into bed with the Saudis the more people will join in.

I keep coming back to this but most countries he’d play in at a decent level have a tax rate for high earners between what? 40% to 70% odds.

So for £200k in the pocket every week, he would need to reach a level he earns £300k to £400k a week. I love him but he will never be capable of that.

As much as I hate it, * me that’s something you can’t turn down. Even if I spent a year or two in pure misery, whilst accumulating as much money as I’m likely to make in a full career, I’d do it for those years and then go onto other things that’d make me happy after.

Regardless of my moral compass about the money and country as well btw. As would most that claim otherwise with an offer that will never be gave to them so can be said no to easily.

Never once said it would fix their league, again you are going off in a tangent.

Fact if the matter is he will face all different types of players you brought up the quota thing. If they have one which we don’t actually know if they do they will change it to accommodate bringing more players in.

Again some of those big stars would walk into our side. We both know it.

Clearly they are not only signing well
Known players near the end of their careers they are going after young talented players also.

Jota you money hungry little slag. Throwing away champions league football, throwing away his international career, throwing away his childhood dreams of becoming a top European footballer. Little sell out *.

Doesn’t stop him getting in the Portugal squad, especially when he inevitably sooks Ronaldo off.

Can tea bag Ronaldo as much as he wants, playing in Saudi in comparison to potentially turning in good performances against the likes of Bayern, Milan etc in the Champions League will definitely not improve his international prospects.

Cash up front. The whole thing feels dodgy enough. They could lose interest in 12 months and we don’t get our amount.

Neves, Ronaldo, potentially Bernardo Silva there, mendes as his agent and Santo as his manager. His international prospects are not ruined at all tbh.

Thing is, he's still young, he could do what Yannick Carrasco did. Go and make bag in Saudi Arabia for 3 years, then negotiate a return to Europe when he's 27.

Axel Witsel as well. Went to China at 28.

Has since played 4 years at Dortmund and currently plays with Atletico Madrid.

Even Aaron Mooy got to play Champions league football with us after going to China.

Ronaldo is thirty * eight and Bernardo Silva is not there, never mind the ‘potentially’ *, he not there. Let’s not get * silly about this now.
