For him specifically, many have said he's fallen out with DD/Lawwell.

He got Rodgers spot on before anyone.. so he's clearly in Nicholson's good graces.

Basically helped in turning supporter opinion in favour of Rodgers. :giggle1:

    36 would be incredible business..

I'm calling * on that one though..

Could fund almost our whole 'rebuild' under the new manager..

I'm sure Saudi is on that FIFA watchlist of countries alongside Qatar and Turkey. Countries that are a bit cunty when it comes to getting the wages paid on time.

It will stunt his development. His next move won't be as big as it would be leaving us.

McGowan gets very little nowadays, PL used him as his contact. So he’ll only get the odd stuff they do want to release. He’s been wrong about plenty over the last 2 years.

I bet deep down he will. The money is everything in this move, but he will look back and think how his career could have gone.

He will be rich, but he will regret it from a football perspective.

Sick of * and this Lawwell agenda put it to bed now he’s not controlling our day to day transfers or the manager wouldn’t have came back.

Nicholson is in charge of this area with Lawwell Jnr etc so get the pistol Pete chat to * it’s pish patter that has no merit

Jota clearly wants to go if he didn’t terms wouldn’t of been agreed or the Insta post he did after the treble a blind man could see he wanted to go from that post alone

100% is. Nicholson more than likely brought him back into the fold. Was out the game for a bit after he defended the fans and slagged the club off over the Lennon situation.

Phil Mac suggesting the deal is in dollars around the $37m mark.

Works out around £29m. Good business, we move on. Rinse and repeat over the next 5 years we will be unrecognisable as a club with European success.

I never think about my football career when I go to the bank.

And neither will Jota in a year or so.

Aye it’ll only be stories the board are wanting planted in the press. Most of them just the outgoings.

Financially it's a no brainer, from a footballing perspective it's a bad move. He won't better himself in that league. He would have done better staying in Europe (not necessarily celtic/Scotland) and playing against better opposition to develop himself more nd I'm sure he would get a club in a top league and win stuff along the way. Won't make the money he is gonne make in Saudi but still be set for life. His career tho so his choice so just gotta accept it and wish him well.

It doesn’t look that way, but I’d wait until the end of the window before safely saying Lawwell isn’t involved.

He isn’t as Rodgers will just leave if he is all the interviews have said it’s Lawwell Jnr and Nicolson so I tend to trust that more than our panty wetter fans looking for an agenda we have no evidence on that he is

Or at least should. Also, there's the small matter of simply not being to enjoy his riches as much as he wants in Saudi Arabia, if he stopped caring about being a pro. Forced to stay indoors for most of the year, can't chat up a girl and buy her drinks. There probably aren't many night clubs in SA.
