That would probably be the best thing for him, pocket that ridiculous money for just a couple seasons then back to europe in his peak years.

Genuinely couldn't give a monkeys where he goes to be honest. I'd prefer he went there because at least we will get more money for him.

First post on this since the news broke. Got to say I'm surprised if it pans out and he goes to Saudi.

Sure the money is good but he struck me as someone with better morals than that, but more importantly more ambition than that.

Nothing makes sense anymore and modern football is an absolute joke.

    Hammy saying he seen £36m.

Most outlets seem to be saying between £20m and £25m. So, if it's £20m, we bought him £6.5m, Benfica would get £4.5m so the profit would be something like £9m on him.

EDIT- That's just the profit on the player, though. Celtic would still receive £15.5m from them. Which means we get to reinvest that £15.5m. Too much made about the actual profit on the player. We get the money we invested in him back too, which was substantial.

I'm generally the same, once a player or manager leaves I don't care as long as we get a good deal because I also understand its our business model so whatever good luck.. but Sadia Arabia.. in fairness the EPL is a wash with blood money too..

Anyway he's gone, not a Celtic player anymore so don't give a * about him ha..

Can't see it being £36m at all.

I love Jota but I'd drive him there myself for that much. He isn't that good.

Huge figure. Not sure how accurate it was. Should be what we are asking for though. It should be a club record sale

That would have been a bit above what I'd have asked of Tottenham, if they had bid for Jota. Saudis could be fleeced for more.

Just can’t get enough Depeche mode
He is compared to the over inflated prices in the EPL, that Antony and Mudryk aren’t miles better and cost nearly £100m each

I think that Mudryk is unreal. He's just not had a proper chance with Chelsea under a manager who knows how to handle that dressing room. I think Pochettino will get the best out of him.

Don't see it with Antony though. He's * mince. Man Utd could have gotten two wingers for the price they paid for him who are better. He's * pish.

That's true.. I'd say the board are looking at this Saudi league and thinking * the EPL we got new buyers in town with more money
