    He was one of our major threats in both seasons.

    Leverkusen away, Shakhtar away, Leipzig away, Betis away off the top of my head. He definitely provided a threat.

    That's definitely the model. But we likely need to be keeping the players for 2 - 3 years and then selling not 1 - 2 as seems to be happening now.

    Anything less makes it near impossible to improve in anything other than financial terms.

    Had his moments, but I never felt he was a consistent threat who was actively being watched by the opposition.

    Samaras used to have teams being pulled all over the place.

    Was issues at Valencia when Santos was there. Him and Mendes were at it back then, signed a lot of Mendes clients for way over the odds.
    Suppose this time theyve just found * rich enough not to care about their dodgy behaviour.

    The more you look at it the more he's * us over. Knowing potentially 3 or 4 mite be leaving aswel as himself.

    He'd have been better off doing a Rodgers and * off in March. Least we could of given new manager time to prepare for transfer window in knowledge of who's was likley leaving.

    He’ll 100% have knew.

    Mendes would probably have been the first person outside of the actual Saudi’s that knew this power grab for football was coming and would have had all sorts lined up.

    99% of players will be on to their agents trying to get out their with the money going around.
