Jota is a good player but his numbers aren't irreplaceable, there's no reason we can't go out and find a player in the 5-10 bracket like him that increases his value and moves on again, that's the 'ajax' model people have been wanting for years but now they're throwing their toys out the pram when players actually get sold, it's mental, if we're not capable of signing players like Jota how did we get him in the first place?

 

Only people Celtic really these day and age want to keep hold of is captain and managers everyone else seems to have a price ….. that’s if theirs any truth in this of course

If he leave to play for a wage in Saudi Arabia, i wish only bad luck to his career. Pathetic choice if you have ambition to become as good a footballer as possible.

Some absolute weapons in here man. Between the helmets that are sitting thinking Lawwells got every penny hidden under his driveway. (even tho he's not got anything to do with money side) Then the ones that have already started the witch hunt for Jota trying to say they would stay loyal to a club they have no loyalties too for 10m a year tax free.

Personally I like the way we're run now and think we will see a large chunk of it invested back into the squad. Say what you want about Lawwell but we wouldn't be moaning about the 20-25m if he really was in charge like you think he'd have tried to squeeze every penny out the *.

Honestly don’t rate him man. He’s so slow and can barely run the length of himself. And that’s just domestically against tired legs.

Watching Maeda in Europe was embarrassing at times. Will genuinely never understand playing Maeda at LW ahead of him. Maeda’s good points aren’t enough to negate his bad and moving our most dangerous player out of position for him made it even worse.

Posted the other day. Rumour was we wanted Solomon because we were selling Jota. Then that afternoon it broke that Spurs wanted Jota and had pulled out of signing Solomon. Still think it’s pish and was someone putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5 but hope it’s true now

Aye with Maeda we know what he brings and what he doesn't. Jota as a left winger is much better, but then it worked for us bar the champions league. I never really liked Jota right but he was also better than Abada there..

Solomon and Tete either side would be decent. Would still need maybe a versatile other with guile..
