    You’re not going to be driving anywhere in Saudi. It’s not a Dubai. You’re going to be going between a compound for expats and the stadium… and that’s it.

    I just don’t think I’ll ever understand the mentality of constantly seeking more. He’s not on chump change. I get it from a Martin Boyle or the likes where a single contract can be the difference between financial security and a life of uncertainty after football, but these guys aren’t that. He’s a young, talented guy who could go far in European football. He’s not going to be struggling for cash.

    Anyone think that Rodger’s might be looking more to having inside forwards rather than conventional wingers like ange , maybe Kyogo as a left inside forward with a big striker up top . Might be why h

    Just having ‘depth’ doesn’t mean anything if the players aren’t at the level we need.

    Jota is light years ahead of any of the other options we have at LW. Ange’s hard on for moving Jota to the right to fit Maeda in doesn’t change that.

    I mean, I’m not opposed to selling him but I’d hold out for more if Saudi is the destination.

    A significant portion of these fees absolutely has to be reinvested. I expect that it will be.

    I genuinely don't think I'd swap £10k a week at Celtic for that currently. If and when they make their league what they want it to be (perhaps in as little as a couple of years) then it would be hard to resist the combination of the money and the opportunity to develop myself; but here and now when it's mostly just money, I'm pretty sure I'd turn it down.

    We need to get more of a fee for a couple of reasons

    1. It's not enough if it's £20-25m. I'd be looking at that from a prem side never mind these clueless *
    2. We Owe Benfica too much to go low. He's on a 5(now 4 years) deal. Criminal if he goes for less than £30m.

    Was looking forward to seeing less of Maeda on the left, his touch is woeful at times, but Ange loved him at the expense of Jota on the left.

    Haksabanovic isn't a winger..
