This for me if it is true Benfica get 30% of the full fee then £25m sale sees us get £17.5m still which is a healthy return. Given the money the Saudi’s are throwing about we should be really pushing for £30m.

I am not sure what the fee is going to be but I think the numbers are just guess work. We had football Scotland saying £25m, I have seen £23.5m mentioned and in excess of £20m which really could mean anything. I would be asking for a club record fee definitely.

Maeda and haksa will be the options on the left, positive is Abada - if he stays - will get more time and I have no doubt he will flourish playing wk in wk out.

Haksabanovic I have doubts about to be honest with his lack of mobility and defensively/pressing..

True, but a move to the Saudi league isn't gonna enhance anything other than his bank balance. Not a chance the Saudi league is better tham the scottish league.

Can't write him off at this stage, but it does nothing to enhance his reputation at all. Portuguese squad, that's as far away as its ever been for him now as well.
