He’s easily the best striker since Larsson, I suspect they will move heaven and earth to sign him for a second long term deal and let him finish his career at Celtic. Put him on the same money as Calmac.

Calmac is on something like 25-28k per week and Kyogo is probably on peanuts so agreed with you Celtic should give him a new contract with same wages as Calmac.

Think he’s the best since Larsson but not easily, think Moussa at his best was up there.

Fingers crossed buddy. Wouldn’t that be some boost going into the new season?

And it will be so demoralising for the tramps too.

    Hail Hail.

I guess we should just sell all our players for whatever another team thinks is the right value then?

Of course what he’s worth to us matters, let’s say Burnley are the only team interested and offer £10million, we’re going to tell them to * off because he’s worth a lot more than £10million to us.

There are obviously a lot of other parts that make up a transfer fee, but how much he is worth to us is definitely a large part of it. Unless he complains and says he wants to move, somewhere from £25-35 million is reasonable, especially if selling to the EPL.

He genuinely could be the difference between 1st and 2nd in the league. Rangers will always be close to us because the other 10 teams in the league are *. That is worth well over £25million to us.

For Jota and Hatate, they’re both young, exciting players who have another level in them. If they stay this season and continue to develop they will likely be sold for £20-25million each as well. That’s not ridiculous either.

This..if his goals help us win automatic qualification to the CL and £30m to 40m, it's a no brainer.

Bring Iniesta as a wee pal for Kyogo.

Could play him in a couple of CL matches as well I suppose.

I think the host also said it's his first time seeing this (shirt/pattern)? Hard to pick up the context sometimes.

Its a bold statement. Could be the truth aswell

But if you actually consider Celtic since Henrik Larsson and then consider some of the strikers we've had since the greatest of all strikers............then I'd have to say Craig Bellamy (even though he was just a loan deal, he was * awesome).............big bad John still was with us for a good few season after Larsson left........then there is Dembelle and its a tight tight decision between Dembelle and Kyogo.

Although Im no saying your statement is untrue....Im just saying we've had other pretty good strikers who would be vying for that accolade as being the best since Henrik. If Kyogo charges on and does another 2 seasons like he just did the previous 2 seasons then it'd be hard to disagree

He 100% Improved second half of the season was scoring goals and doing things he wouldn't have done early last season or the previous season

He’s a good Champions League campaign away from being in the argument never mind easily being the best, as it stands he’s still done a bit less than Moussa (and arguably Eddy).

    He’s capable though.

Not what you want, realism, but we are never getting anywhere near £25 million for him. It’ll be more like £15 million.
We are never going to agree so leave it and we will see what happens. Hopefully signs a new deal.

Movement wise I think he’s the best since Larsson. Not the best striker we’ve had though, yet.

Impossible to disagree with that, his movement is world class.

I think you’re quite pessimistic. If he continues to perform well in the coming season and doesn’t sign a new contract, we’ll still get at least £15 million with a year left on his contract.

The only way in which he’d leave for £15 million this summer would be if he actively forces the move. Were definitely not going to agree so sure, let’s agree to disagree, and we’ll see the price if he actually leaves.
