The boy is a proven roaster.

Watching him and the other resident weapon @Al Bootyerbaws arguing is like watching the boxing and wanting both * sparkled.

 

I know he's just in the door, but he better get the * finger out in the market asap.

We've been linked with nothing but absolute pish for the past two weeks. We need ACTUAL signings to compete in Europe, and have so far, been linked with Korean projects, Leicester B teamers, and Rob * Holding.

Maybe jumping the gun obviously, but I can't help thinking I'd be feeling alot more confident with a couple of marquee signings in the door.

 

We all would but if we are going to spend £5 to 8m on a player I would want our manager to be properly behind that new signing. Manager is just in the door, which has no doubt changed our signing plans.

 

I can't get my head around the idea of folk expecting us to just magically pull immediate big name signings out the bag as soon as BR is in the door. It's actually hilarious.

Is it not the case that any high profile, big money signings we're chasing are gonna be in high demand, therefore will take a LOT of work on Nicholson's part to even have a chance of getting over the line?

Also, if we were to rush into signing folk and they turned out a poor fit, you can put your mortgage on these same people abusing BR for his shocking transfer record.

Honestly it's as if people lose all semblance of common sense this time of year, either that or just LOVE to be * raging about anything at all

 

There's certain brackets of players in different price ranges. We can now search the football manager search bar but put the max price a bit higher allowing us some better signings. Instead of some £1.5m punt we can up it to £7m on someone alot further along in the development stage who can actually control a ball and look some semblance of a professional footballer.

 

Course we can, and it will already be in motion. But if you're expecting announcements any time soon yer in for a long summer. It will take time for these deals to get done so it maybe worth calming the * down and giving the club some space to work without getting on their backs about it.

Have patience, Brendan hasn’t even had a training session with the squad yet. He will 100% need to see them in a few games etc and assess them before any marquee signings will be made I’d say. Projects would be fine to sign under any circumstance (holm, tilio) as they’re young with high potential and a smaller fee. I’d be confident we will get good deals done in time
