Anyone know why BBC Scotland and PLZ were banned by Celtic from Brendan’s press conference yesterday

Happens constantly now unfortunately.

Footballers are particularly easy to target as the fixture schedule is released so far in advance that they can literally plan dates when they will be hundreds of miles away from their property.

The list of Premier League footballers that have been robbed is shocking, sometimes multiple times. Wouldn’t surprise me if people within the private security firms they hire are in on it.

Rodgers, and people like him are at risk of this type of thing regardless of where they work unfortunately.

Celtic ‘eye Aussie World Cup star’ as Brendan Rodgers gives green light to Ange Postecoglou transfer approach

NEW Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers is set to green light a Hoops transfer move for Aussie international Marco Tilio, it's being claimed.

The Hoops brought in Aaron Mooy during Ange Postecoglou's time at the club, while Rodgers also brought in Daniel Arzani on-loan during his first spell at the club.

And now numerous outlets are claiming that the young Aussie who replaced Martin Boyle in the Socceroos' World Cup squad at the 11th hour is on the Hoops' transfer wanted list.

It's believed that Ange Postecoglou had earmarked the Melbourne City star for a transfer, but Rodgers has rubber stamped the approach.

Melbourne City are attached to the City Group, former employers of Celtic head of recruitment Mark Lawwell - who still hold plenty of sway in the Hoops' boardroom.

The Hoops have had plenty of joy bringing in players who may not otherwise qualify for moves to more established Premier League clubs due to work permit rules.

And striker Tilio, who has five caps for his country, could fit the bill in that regard.

His Melbourne City side were routed 6-2 in the A-League Grand Final by Jason *'s Central Coast Mariners side, but he's a highly-rated 21-year-old with nine goals in 26 appearances to his name this season.

The Hoops are known to be keen to bring in more attacking options this season - amid question marks over Liel Abada and Kyogo Furuhashi.

That’s me… not really giving any of his words much attention and certainly not buying it without my usual cynicism filter on full.

There seems to be a complete self-imposed memory wipe here with a lot of Celtic supporters.. They are entitled to apply the total ‘forgive and forget’ principle but I’m in the ‘fool me once’ camp.

There’s even a vocal group accusing any Celtic supporter NOT fully trusting of BRs return of being Huns or stupid.

Just take note of those words about ‘staying for the full 3 seasons’.

Arses could be well and truly bitten there.

The BBC staff probably turned up wearing Sevco ties.

This below speaks volumes re anti Celtic bias at the BBC

 

Then there's the ones that don't only remember the invincible season but remember his 2nd season when we got 82 points when the Huns were still * and so were all the other teams and our football was boring to watch. And remember some of the pitiful performances in Europe and some of the transfers we made.
The people who are fully behind him have very selective memories.
Obviously I hope we do well under him but those who think him coming back guarantees us success are deluded.

 

Our team was alot worse then and that point total may be due to the league as a whole being stronger, and I tend to agree it was.

 

all pretty safe questions from the fans probably didnt want the bbc treatment ,no mention of rats/snakes * off to leicester mid season ,he almost got it about his transfer record .wonder if that was the reason for the delay incase there was some editing to be done .what he said about transfers and the new set up will temper the expectations of who we are gonna sign
