BBC Scotland has asked Celtic for comment on the decision to deny the BBC access to the media conference and is awaiting a response.

The Rafa * was hilarious tbf, we thought we were in for a shout as a fanbase when he was in negotiations for £15m a year in China.

Marco Rose was always ones fans talked about, but don’t think it was ever one we’d have had a serious chance of getting at the time.

It is mental tbf, we may not have had a Quadruple Treble. He got 5 Trophies out of that, it irks me that we write that achievement off for some reason.

From the hindsight side of it, I’d go for a Quadruple Treble and what Ange has done since because of the heartbreak, than the trajectory that we were on during it.


Think that one set back, and a large dose of luck, has set the club in a great place for a long time to come now.

Forgot just how good he is with the media btw, only listened to 15 minutes or so just now, but he strikes the tone perfectly and he guides the questioning away from anything sensationalist.

 

Loved the little.bot about battling the media, the awkward silence and laugh by the media was very telling.

Firmly put back in their place.

And considering BBC were banned from it, and the rest of the media there would be aware of that, that’s a wee marker on that part.

He is exceptional at media handling, it’s more vicious up here than down there, but even in England, you don’t find many media people that will go against him. He knows what he’s doing there.

Honestly for me, I’m well aware of his personality and * complex at times, and I won’t be overly attached. After Ange, Lenny and BR first time round I’m in dire need of a guy I can just get behind professionally 100% and trust him to do the right things on the pitch, and with Rodgers I’m delighted he’s back for those reasons.
