    We need to stop going over old ground, but I'll say it once more, Rodgers timing of departure started a chain of events that cost us the 10 and that will never be forgotten..

    However, I'm excited to see what we can achieve under him this time.

    We move on..

    Leicester said at the time they were happy to wait until the summer as their season was effectively over.

    Rodgers did * us over, in my opinion. I've moved on though, as have the club and many other supporters. Looking forward to the new season now.

    Aye 100% the board shafted him but don't lay it on thick about how much you love the club and have always supported it then sneak off in the middle of the night. I also noticed he not once mentioned being a supporter this time (I don't think anyway)

    My point is more that is he to blame for Lawwell and Co hiring Lennon full time?

    It caused him to come in but who's to say if he stayed till the summer that the board still wouldn't have turned to Lennon?

    I just find it hard to really hold that against him. For a club that was so obsessed with 10IAR we failed to back the manager we knew could deliver it.

    That's where the fault lies.

    Suppose. I'm just over it though, i got over it quite quickly as well as he still gave me some amazing memories as a supporter.

    And he's back now so it's time to do it all over again hopefully.

    I would actually say that Ange leaving shocked me more.

    James i think you need to cut the guy a bit of slack, he's back and we should support him, constant negativity is a pointless excercise.

    This is a time for everyone to come together, don't give the huns what they want, get behind the manager.

    I'm 100% behind him I think he was absolutely shafted by the board and time has been kind to him with how everything played out but it still doesn't change the fact he shouldn't have walked away when he did. I hold more annoyance towards the board than Rodgers tbf but his timing was still shocking

    Thought that was a good interview. Don't see how any of us can watch that and not give him their support. Coming back plus saying what he said there was as much of an apology as he could give (for those that needed one) and he's clearly got the bit between his teeth to take us up a level.

    Well I don't mind if he's only here for 2 years cause his teams usually fall off after the first 2 seasons, but if he's doing well and wants to stay for the 3 then fair enough.
    Answered the questions well and the response he gave about how he left the last time was perfect imo as a flat out apology would've been insincere and looked weak.

    Aye, tbf to Lennon he secured the treble and then won another, so he made it almost impossible for the board not to give him the gig..

    If Rodgers stays to the end of that season tho, then Lenny is nowhere near the gig, probably lol..

    The timing forced us to get Lennon in, which is Rodgers fault, for the most part..

    All things including the board, Covid, Lennon and Rodgers all played a part and Rodgers returning doesn't change that..

    But like I say, we move on and i'll back him.. seems determined and slightly more humble this time around.
