    Handled it well overall I thought. Shouldn’t be making any guarantees though. V.surprised at how short it was. As others have said, really like Nicholson, seems like a class act & a safe pair of hands.

    You read between the lines of that and that's yer apology right there, he canny say he regretted leaving because that would leave him open to be seen to have made the wrong decision at the time.


    I thought he spoke very well, with confidence and a clear objective going forward, what excited me even more is the solid structure we now have in place.

    I wouldn't even say he * us over. I think he just admitted to it being an emotional time and that he doesn't regret it but he's sorry for any hurt it caused as he knows what it's like as a supporter.

    For me, time has shown there was a mass overreaction in many ways to him leaving. Its fine to feel hurt and disappointed because you've lost such a talented coach but some comments I seen at the time were wild. Whether in the heat of the moment or not, but some are still feeling the same 4 years later which for me is mental.

    Need to all get behind him now. If we do, the board do, then we are unstoppable I'd say.

    There would always be the inevitable question about Sevco from one of their lickspittles. A smell of * that never goes away. They will pick up on his “no regrets” about leaving. Always a negative story about Celtic when it comes to these hurting hun * in the SMSM.

    reading between the lines..... Michael Nickolson and Chris McKay ambushed Brendan Rodgers while on holiday in Majorca, got him steaming on cheap sangria and paella and got him to sign a 3yr contract in his own blood.
    he looks like a prisoner being forced to give a statement with big Pedro holding a gun under the table. :help:

    If your work is * you over and your boss isn't giving you what you want and someone comes along and offers a way out for way more money in a much nicer location what would you do?

    Sometimes it's not as black and white in football. People forget this is their jobs. Same goes for when Tierney left us. * get too hurt over these things...the club is still here 4 years later stronger than ever and he's back.

    Let's * move.

    He did * us over with the timing had he left in the summer and fired even subtle shots at the board he would have still been on great terms. His timing of leaving is unforgivable even if his reasons behind it are understandable

    The opportunity presented to him may not still have been there in the summer.

    He didn't exactly leave us completely.on our * either in terms of the position in the league and he had already achieved all he could have domestically.

    We lost 10IAR because the board hired Neil Lennon in the showers and I'll die on that hill. We didn't lose it because of Brendan Rodgers.
