He was scoring until lennon came in then he stopped playing him because he wanted to play a game for national team

Had only scored 2 prior to Lennon joining. Burke was out scoring him. If Celtic had plans to buy him I think he would have played more but by that point we were so far ahead that we were preparing for next season. He also wanted to play an u21 game rather than play for us so he didn't get picked for the cup final, which I think was the right choice.

I would like to see him back here although probably no chance but I think Ange would get the best out of him

Mexican left back couldn't get near him at 1 min 47, for his assist.

Juventus seems to have found the offensive full-back they were looking for: in fact, the arrival of Timothy Weah is very close . The club reached an understanding with Lille today after various positive contacts.

Important coup for the bianconeri made by ds Manna. The verbal agreement for the figures is between two options: 10 million euros plus 2 in bonuses, or directly 12 million . The player chose and wanted Juventus: he has a 5-year contract .

Juventus want him as a young winger who knows how to offend together with a more experienced one . In fact, his arrival does not exclude that of Castagne

Juve must be desperate. His record at Lille is horrendous.

I think they're signing him to play RWB rather than ST. Looks like he's been converted during his later time at Lille.

Ha. A popular conversion in the world of football. Cha Du-Ri had this, and the late Ćiro Blažević converted 2 strikers to wing backs as well.

I'm betting Maeda might be a candidate.

Weirdly his name came up the other day in conversation, and there’s like an odd Mandela effect about his time at Celtic, he scored 4 goals. It feels like he kept coming on scoring, kept being unfairly benched and then patched completely when Lenny came in when he was the biggest threat. Him and Burke scored 4 played about the same amount for us, and everybody remembers he was useless as * infront of goal:56:

He was right likeable though, scored against us and didn’t really celebrate it even though it was a good goal to be fair, glad to see where he’s worked his way up to in football at Juve now. Was a RWB for a bit anaw, which is odd. I like the guy, him and Frimpong are similar in my head as wee bubbly loveable guys that had talent, that weren’t here long enough and are largely forgettable despite the talent.

Don't remember thinking he was useless? Burke aye but thought he was fairly well regarded by our support.

Thought Lennon was way off how he treated him, do remember that.

Always liked the bloke. Spoke highly of us, had a great attitude and Lenny bombed him out for no reason and then dumped him..Agree Lennon treated him badly.

Burke was more a striker, Weah a winger, so 4goals each would be more favourable to Weah.

My timeline and memory may be wrong, but was it after he chose to play for USA over a cup game or something for us, Lennon took the huff? Keeping in mind he was only on loan and leading up to that was still more a sub player than a starter anyway.
