I can't believe it either. Ange came after we'd been jilted by Howe and gave us 5 out or six trophies, brought an exciting style of play, and stayed until the treble was secured and left us with some great players. What the * else did you want from him.

 

Listen we can all feel what we feel, he is the rat, the snake, I’ve called him it all as well.

But like any relationships we have in life we get what we need out of them and if he gives us what we need and want then I don’t see the problem. He needs us when his stock is low and we need him when we need an ambitious manager. Either way both parties win.

I’ve also had some beers and I may be talking * so I shall leave it to you fair people to decide ha!

 

We set the standard, our last 3 managers have all won a treble. Quite amazing that. I love a treble but I don't expect them. However when you have won 17 out of the last 21 domestic trophies you are under pressure to follow suit.

 

Did I read it right, is there an an interview tonight as well as the presser tomorrow?

 

They literally considered Gerrard a successful manager and he won one trophy in three years. Their standards are incredibly low and I think it's only just starting to dawn on them.

Brendan “ I understand that some of the fans were upset but there were mitigating factors, I was promised money to buy new players and Peter reneged on it, I then chased 2 players in McGinn and Castagne who I did a lot if work on and again Peter started playing Silly buggers and we lost on both players. My Agent told me about Leicesters interest and the 10m a year wages and I though * this for a game of cards I’m off, love the club, love the fans but this board is too much to work with, and I know it was Feb but we’d won the league cup and were a shoo in for the treble so I told big John he could come and we’d still leave a team that could win at a canter and Lenny was in the sidelines and needed a boost anyway

Brendan “Well I’ve had a word with Desmond and I got it written into my contract that no backing and it won’t work and I’m no coming, Des wants success not just domestically but in Europe he’s desperate to shove it down those Manchester * necks us getting to a final will be great for his ego and mine, “ they might have just won a treble with the CL but we did a quadruple when we won the European cup the hard way”.

Brendan “ oh that’s simple just beat the Huns at iPox and then get through the group of the CL, oh a nut Beal on the way up the tunnel” that last bit will happen whether they like me or no”

Ange has ruined me, if Brendan doesn't cough in the first 2 minutes of his press conference I'm going to assume something is wrong with him
