In all honesty I'm starting to wonder why he left so abruptly. Someone said he had a bit of a to do with PL and was told if he didn't like things the way they were he can go as in now. Made it sound like he was left with no choice but to walk.

With most domestic teams playing a low block against us, we probably won't see football too much different than we did under Ange..

Will be interesting to see what style we play in Europe and v The Huns think we may be less predictable in general..

And where we strengthen will definitely make it an exciting summer.

Tbh Jeannie i don't know if we will ever get the intricate details of what happened, but it was always gonna be the case that BR took pelters for it regardless of the reasons behind it.

Must be honest i was really livid at the time lol, mental when you think about it, i actually took it personal, that was how it felt to me and i'm sure many others.

Him coming back is significant i honestly believe that, don't think he himself wanted his Celtic chapter to end in the manner it did, i know he talks a lot of bull but deep down i do believe he has affection for us as a club, guess we'll find out in the coming year or two.

Are we saying the GB’s official stance is that they are against Brendan Rodgers? That’s not helping the club at all, surprised by this.

Many within the Media have gritted teeth, most of the huns are in bravado mode lol, this calibre of appointment is not what they wanted or expected.

I'll doff my cap to the Board, they've really surprised me this time.

Although I think this is the right decision for everybody. I cant stop thinking more and more that Brendan Rodgers is the typa guy that would invite you over to his house for a bbq in the nice weather.............but it'd be a vegan bbq

Where is that inclusivity and our catholic forgiveness the core of our religion and the values the club is built on if your going to shout about it then live it don’t just say it.

Awk wait until he beats the huns for the first time and all will be forgiven. The GB are just bumping their gums as to not lose face.

Postecoglou had been talking to Spurs for MONTHS while thumping the badge and quoting Tommy Burns. He then tried to take John Kennedy who by all reports is an excellent coach. I find it strange that the same people who are still raging about Brendan Rodgers are giving Postecoglou a free ride.

I have to admit I had mixed feelings when Rodgers was linked initially. He is the best candidate I think we can all agree on that. However obviously everything that went before was very difficult to take, but I suppose 4 and a half years later and after a pandemic perspectives maybe change. We do only live once and I think Brendan may feel that once the offer came it was a change not so much of redemption but to leave his legacy in a positive place.

I was on the Celtic Park tour on Saturday. Over for a stag do but me and the brother were adamant we were going to Parkhead. Listening to the stories and the great names- Maley, McGrory, Stein, Johnstone, Dalglish, McGrain, McNeil, O'Neil, Larsson really made me emotional. I thought of the great O'Neil team of my teenage years. The joy it brought me. If Rodgers can go and claim a European trophy like say the Europa League then he would deserve to be mentioned amongst the greatest. His Invincible Treble still lives long in the memory. I am hoping with investment we can push on in Europe this year and try to make an impression.

Ange is irrelevant now tbf and he’s down south , can understand the frustration and rage as I also share it in my eyes BR is a Rat Cun* and always will be will I back him ? Obvcourse I will aslong as the club is winning I can’t really fault him but deep down he’s a fraud as the banner went when he jamp ship. But at the end of the day he was the best pick from the lot tbh and silverware will be collected so he will be backed

The GB greeting about this isn't going to cloud my opinion that it's the correct appointment. No-one is bigger than the club, and it's about continuing the success we had under Ange. Can't think of anyone better to be in the role with that in mind.

You get the feeling that some in the GB think they're bigger than the club at times, ironically.
