This is what I don’t get. Everyone knew Rodgers wasn’t being backed properly. So aiming the anger towards him and not the board when he decided enough was enough and that his ambitions outweighed the theirs, was just stupid in all honesty. They two photos just point out the complete stupidity with the Green Brigade post from earlier.

Buzzing to have him back, I was never too upset about him leaving tbh as I know it’s how things go in football but I was let down slightly over the timing of his departure. I knew there was stuff going on behind closed doors with him and the board though so I didn’t blame him too much.

    * sake, sick to death of these wee * at this point to be honest. If they’re no getting chased about off the Huns, they’re doing * like this causing a divide between the support. Back the team and the manager or * off.

I'd fancy the manager against the gb if they arrange a meet by Hampden..

In fairness, BR could blow all of that on 4 players. Ange was an excellent wheeler dealer, so we'll see what Mr R does now.

I really don't get people holding such a grudge. He was selling his best players and replacing with crap like Bayo. Then have loans like Burke and Toljan.

We wouldn't budge a few pence for McGinn.

He was then offered the world but had to leave there and then. Would be the odd Celtic hardcore screwball would have turned it down but 99% of people on here would have done the same

The problem is lawell and lawell junior are still at the club.if they were gone Rogers would be much happier I think. As long as they are there I can't see them not interfering in some way.hope I'm wrong but can't see Rogers staying full 3 years as long as they are around HH

I was never angry at him, disappointed and gutted aye. But the people who are still angry at hom surely that seems from the disappointment of losing such a talented manager. I can't recall many who were happy to see him go at the time.

Get behind him and back the team. Everyone else will want us to fail, last thing we need is our own support showing disorder.

I just can't get the idea of not backing the manager. Whoever came in I would back and support, even if we'd brought in Tony Mowbray or Scott Brown. They could have shown the picture and said "your chance to prove us wrong". We need to get the manager to want to be here, I think he does. He could probably get the Palace or Bournemouth job if he really wanted them. I'm pretty sure a PL team would take him, the FA Cup and 5th place finishes will carry enough weight. I've admitted to myself I was wrong to be angry at him, he left because the club * him. After we signed Eddy we sold Moussa for more than twice his cost but didn't sign another striker or anybody else who wasn't a freebie.

Looking at it over the past week or so I think he's probably the right choice as long as he is backed. To be honest I can't see him not being backed, we know Ange has been and was going to be so Celtic have no problem giving the money. The club will have targets, Rodgers may have his own too.

McGowan reported that part of the negotiation of Rodgers returning was that the board would push the boat out for targets that he deemed vital for his setup.
