For me, welcome back. Sickened when he left, but at the end of the day I support Celtic. This guy is top drawer. We also need to come round to the idea that big clubs, yes big clubs, are constantly changing managers. The manager of a big club is always being sought after. I didn't like what he did, but then again, hindsight and context can help understand that he left. Ange is a good example. Rogers is a class act. My only concern is crushing the orcs. And keeping them in their place. I always thought the Celtic for life stuff and the start required a pinch of salt, but hey. Let's back the guy to do a job. I don't see him being here more than the 3 years if his contract anyway. Good luck to him. (even if I do have my grudge on a back burner...)

Kennedy. Then Broony when he takes Fleetwood into the Champions League.

I'm sure he will, but he needs to have us in fire from the get go..

Otherwise, it could get toxic very quickly..

Think he needs to say something apt about his departure in his first presser..

    Right you !

Let’s be having some of that ‘failure’ the Scottish football media have been spouting about.

The GB are just embarrassing themselves. 232 staright RTs and 863 likes on a tweet seen 1.1M times says it all.

Best outcome we could have hoped for, replaced one top manager with another one and kept the coaching team to give us continuity.

Hopefully we will have good couple years and he can leave on a high having left a positive legacy behind him.

Doesn't need to address anything, he did that several times after he left.

We've learned by now after brendan the first time and now ange to leave that sentimental * at the door. He's here to do a job.

I disagree he will definitely need to talk about and address it, or he'll be asked about in every presser until he does.

I hadn’t seen his interview until the other day when he said had he used his heart he would be at Celtic for life in one of his first Leicester interviews. What a mental thing to say when you have taken over at a new club. However, that shows you in my opinion that Lawwell was a major factor in his decision to leave. I just don’t think he could work with him any longer due to the power Lawwell had over the money we spent. So from that point of view, he probably done the right thing leaving, otherwise it could have turned toxic for us.

That was the reason I found it hard to be angry towards him for leaving, because our board were notorious for not backing managers and showing a complete lack of ambition. It was no different with Rodgers. The anger at him leaving was aimed in the wrong direction.

It seems this time however it’s different. All the talk is that there has been assurances made he will be properly backed, and we have a very good starting position to go from. Board and manager appear on the same hymn sheet. Very exciting times ahead in my opinion. The Green Brigade post is so short sighted and petty. I think when they gauge fan reaction to the post they will probably back down as well, because they are well wide of the mark in my opinion, and for a section of fans who have clearly shown their dislike for Lawwell and know exactly what he is all about, it’s surprising to see their hate aimed towards Rodgers, when it’s as clear as day that Lawwell was a huge problem previously.

They should indeed but some of the quote tweeets stick it to them quite well.
