Glad I wasn’t one of the ones who fell for Lawwell’s bullshit and slated a Celtic man.

Ange didn't * off mid season though.

He would if Tottenham manager got sacked mid season im sure of, but that's just speculation. We built Ange. If it was not for us, he would still be in Japan and he showed us no loyalty for that at all. Im not saying what Rodgers did is right, because it isnt for me, but i think that this is how it works nowadays, especially with top, top managers.

    Exactly.

Tottenham were without a manager since March btw.

We gave him an opportunity and he was successful. We didn’t build him. He didn’t show us any long term loyalty, but was he obligated to? I think no.

Was Rodgers? I think both yes and no. He gave us 3 successful years as well. I think that there is so much more to it than we fans know. He clearly had demands on the board that they did not want to meet. I would be furious if i really wanted McGinn for example, and got blanked. Im not saying you are wrong, but i don't think that it is really that awful what he did in the modern game. If we want top elite managers, we wont get loyalty.

No. But leaving us like he did was a * move.

    2.5.

There’s always stuff fans don’t know, but there’s more than one side to the story.

Leicester said they were happy to wait until the end of the season for Rodgers. He * off when we had a game a couple of days later. :/

Ange wasn’t their first choice to be fair, it’s pure speculation but I’m not sure Ange would have hung around till the end of the season if Spurs came knocking in March.

Rodgers pulled a * move at the time but it’s obvious now his relationship with Lawell had broken down beyond repair and I think it was more of a GIRUY to him as much as anything.

It wouldn’t surprise me if Spurs had contacted him in March. As said though it’s just speculation and we can only go on what actually happened, and Ange stayed to finish the season and secure a treble.

The guy is fine with Rodgers abandoning us during the season, but raging at Ange for ‘pounding his chest’ after delivering a treble and then leaving at the end of the season. :56:

I’ve seen people criticising Ange for having the Spurs job since March but also saying he would’ve left in March if he had the Spurs job.

If he comes back down the line then that narrative will change. It only applies for his time at spurs
