Who could we replace Ange with?

Anyone have a clue how his Leicester side set up the last couple of years? Was it different to how we played under him?

Seem to recall them playing 4-4-2 a fair bit with Vardy and Iheanacho.

 

All points negative and positive are valid wi Rodgers. Some a little exaggerated but that's opinions for you. But what's fact is, we have to unite and get behind him and the team. That's the only thing the doubters and have huns have of stopping us. The hope we turn against one another and capitulate.

A positve is all egos have been parked and people's love for the club has ultimately won. If that post about what's coming for the club is close to being true, then we're on to something special here. This season the league is all that matters cause its direct entry to the new CL format. Minimum 8 games and euro fitba after Christmas.

Who gives a *....He will be here for a max of 2 years which is fine by me as most managers tend to suck balls in their 3rd season anyways.

As long as he wins trophies here thats all that matters.

He is a Grade A * but he wins.

One thing that was great over the last 2 years was how everyone was pulling in the same direction. We're a force when that happens..

It's hard though. I don't like the guy as a person and i think he's as skeekit as it gets..

I'll probably stop abusing him but I won't be subscribing to any of the fanfare..

 

I'll always back Celtic. Begrudgingly by extension I'd have to back Rodgers too. I would honestly love him to prove me wrong and deliver domestic and European success. The success in Europe being a small s though, because it's hard to know what that means for us anymore. I don't have to like the guy to appreciate a good manager if he brings trophies and genuinely improves us in Europe.

If he is backed and can get us to let's say the Last 16 of the CL, the last 1/8 of the EL or perhaps even further in the Conference League then you won't see a happier Tim than me mate. At the end of the day it's what we all want. Best case scenario for me is that he achieves that and goes somewhere else after a year or two for the next guy to build on.

But personally I don't think he will and ultimately he'll be the wrong appointment. In my eyes there are too many red flags to ignore and too many bad signs showing that he hasn't learnt or changed from his previous stint. It's not really a personal thing against Rodgers, I genuinely don't rate him as a manager as highly as most do on here. I think his stock has fallen and he knows this which is why only Leeds are currently in for him.

 

The fear is setting in

 

I think the huns genuinely thought we were going to go down the route of another Lennon type appointment. If we bring back Rodgers, it is another statement of intent from the board in my opinion.

 

I hope he's financially backed and we actually have decent players lined up.

One of the conditions should be that Congerton's number should be deleted and blocked on all club official's phones.

 

A couple should be okay, but if there's another 999,998 he'll be * off again

I don't think I quite realised how much they were petrified of him. They're literally * it big time and hoped it would be a rookie with no much to spend..

 

I hope he's financially backed but within reason. The club are obviously doing something very right over the past two years in identifying talent at good prices. We need to continue that if shopping in a more expensive market

100% like it or not, he could walk into a number of epl jobs straight away just now. He's here because imo he does support celtic. Otherwise he'd never come back. Sure he was a *. Were all a * sometimes.

 

I hope he doesn't get to come in and start pickingas his track record isn't that great. By all means a manager should have a say with the players the recruitment team have been scouting and whittling down......but I'd hope it was off what we've already been doing in the main..

Completely agree.

He can't spot a player but coaches well. He should be given a shortlist created by us to pick from.

Congerton is in a job so at least we should be safe from that *.
