When you're on a high and building well for the future you don't turn around and accept mediocrity. You don't return to hum drum side and back possessional football after being on the edge of your seat under the last manager. What you should bring us is an enthusiastic and highly motivated man like a MON and ride the crest of the wave. Big Ange to wee Brenda is as bad as it gets in terms of ambition , we know for a fact he's got a shelf life and is dug * in the transfer market.

At a time when our support is deflated and dejected and in need of a boost the * board are ready to enhance that by bringing in a little rat who doesn't give a flying * about our club , where is the ambition in that? Not only have we lost big Ange's style of football it looks like he's taken his mantra with him as well.

Desmond love’s BR from all accounts. Halfway through Rodger’s being at us Peter Lawwell was the one dealing with hin rather than Dermot. And they’ve both got massive * egos.

Both are quite world class if they stick ti their own area if expertise. neither did first time round. This time we’ve if he comes back we’ve evolved beyond that being an option

A absolutely love Martin O’Neill but * off with that as a suggestion. We just won’ a Treble and are in a very strong position, dejected and deflated isn’t the description

I didn't compare it to "adulterous wives", I made the charming comparison of a wife, talking herself around to accepting a sub par partner, using selective memory to justify a stupid decision.

And I don't need to get over anything.

I don't give a * about Rodgers leaving, as I've stated many times, I assumed him gone at the end of the season anyway.

What WILL NOT "get over" is a return to * dire football, once his tactics have been figured out by every opposition manager after the first season, getting pumped in Europe by *, watching him sign garbage like Hendry, Commper, Ollie * Burke et al, and try to noise it up all you like , they were HIS signings.

But go ahead. "It's going to be different this time" aye?
His 2 season rule will suddenly disappear, he will automatically become a * bloodhound to sign actual talent, he'll not run the squad with short term ambitions to maximise his own reputation and exposure, he won't run injured players into the ground, and it's all gonna be fine and dandy.

Is that it aye? Am I "over it" yet do you think?

Giving him more money or more transfer control is NOT going to improve his inability to pick a * player.

The selective memory massive strike again. Because I'm vicious in my criticism of Rodgers doesn't equate to me being butthurt. I just think we can do a * of alot better than a manager whose been sacked twice by EPL clubs, and had us looking like a 5 a side team in Europe...

Wait... But but... Leicester, conference league aye? To quote your words, a * traffic cone could get a top 7 EPL side into a conference league quarter or semi.

He didn't love him enough to back him financially ha. I don't think DD has anything to do with the running of the club on a daily basis, he just shows up for the big decisions.

As you said we are evolving as a club and it will be interesting to see the new dynamic of Rodgers and Nicholason.

It's not a done deal yet so ya never know.. the last 100 pages could be irrelevant haha

We havnt done well in Europe in about 20 years, all of a sudden that's Rodgers fault?

As for getting sacked twice in the premier league. He got Liverpool closet they have been to a championship in donkeys years and Leicester hung him out to dry by pulling financial backing.. Still managed to win the FA Cup.

Do I need to do a list of great managers sacked in the premier league? Could be a while, long * list

Jose for example.. largely considered the best manager in football for a generation.. sacked 3 or 4 times down there? Just got to back to back Euro finals winning one.

For the sake of progress in Europe, I really hope we get someone that is not Rodgers. He's better than Maresca or Muscat, but that's it.

Who can we get that has a proven record in Europe that wants to manage in Scotland? Certainly no one on the lists we've seen bar maybe Knutsen who by the sounds of it is quite happy raking it in at Bobo..

Knutsen is one. Oliver Glasner is also available. I think Iraola would do better in Europe than Rodgers.

That's three managers, off the top of one posters head, all three superior options to Rodgers, especially Knutsen, all three certainly attainable, and all three with proven records.

Unfortunately, our majority shareholder is a Irish obsessed fucktard who will pick a decent Irishman over a superior foreigner, as he refuses to allow the club to grow beyond his own control.

Lennon, Rodgers, Roy * Keane... I'm actually surprised he hasn't went for * kenny yet. Or maybe he has.

He should beg MON to come back. Better than Rodgers and actually loves the club.

Yeah maybe.. Iraola would be my choice but unfortunately in the land of Celtic DD is King and he wants Rodgers. My only fear is if we don't get Rodgers we will get the assistants assistant from City Group. So if its Rodgers or him I'll reluctantly take Rodgers.

Any manager is a risk, Ange was a fairly big one and it worked out OK.. so we just have to wait and see I suppose.

I think people are underestimating how incredible this appointment would be with our current crop of players. Jota will be * Ronaldoesque under BR, and many players ceilings will rise dramatically. cant * wait.

I'd rather explore potential options than to immediately settle for Rodgers.

MON is not an option and hasn't been for a decade
