Who could we replace Ange with?

I've made my peace with Brendan Rodgers coming back, cos he'll scud the Sevco and put them in their place, and that's the most important thing....

 

Rodgers is a rat *, who’s name i refused to say until recently.

however, much like his first time round we cant get a better CV than his and you could argue that since he left he’s actually got better (2 x 5th place finishes with Leicester and a FA cup (impressive in anybodys eyes))

 

They were knocked out of the cup by US and every game between us since he took over was very close and most could have gone either way IMO (except the dead rubber that they won comfortably). The fact is that they started improving from the moment he took over from GVB and they went on an incredible run of wins after that. If we hadn't been on an even better run of wins that literally broke records, they might have caught us up. It was the incredible job Ange did that won it for us, not anything Beale did wrong. Look at his record at Rangers objectively. Look at how Gerrard fell apart at Villa after he left to do his own thing. He's clearly a good coach. We need to maintain the standards Ange has set, because they will come back stronger.

 

He’d be crazy not to with the domestic success/excitement it brings so I don’t think he will change it much if he does have the job. He will quite rightly tweak it for Euro and Rangers games.

 

Can anyone explain to me why DD has such a hard-on for Rodgers? I thought he was the sort you never crossed, yet he wants BR back after he ditched us mid-season out of the blue which precipitated the Lennon debacle.

 

I've got it figured out. We're getting Mallorca's manager Aguirre- it's so obvious.

 

I’m not worried about huns one bit, they are in a * place losing their best players for * all and replacing them with bargain basement finds. In every game it mattered they choked.

I’m more worried about Europe, they set a record of being the worst champions league team ever and I don’t want to come anywhere near taking that crown.

 

He is a very good manager. That is my guess mate

Villa had been in downfall since around February last year while Beale was there. The results from earlier in the season had kept him afloat.
