Don’t wish I’ll on Brendan but I really hope he doesn’t come, just remember the standard of football during his last season, it was boring as *.

If it is Rodgers, all I can say is that I hope he has the right attitude. We all know what he can do if he's up for it; but if he comes up here thinking he can just half * it for a bit of easy cash between EPL jobs, then I think we'll be in trouble, because Beale is proving to be a very good coach for them.* It will get toxic as **** very quickly if he comes back and loses the league.

    * No, I'm not saying Beale is better than Rodgers if Rodgers is really working and yes I do think that if both are giving 100% then Rodgers is the better coach. But they are big ifs TBH. I just have genuine questions about his attitude. His attitude was shocking in the end at both us and Leicester. On the positive side, if he really is up for it, he's a genuinely elite level coach and it could be really exciting. He could really repair his legacy here.

The question is, which Brendan Rodgers would show up?

I think its natural for people to be a bit underwhelmed when you’re going back to something familiar, as opposed to trying something new.

It’s like going on a date with your ex who you had an amazing time with, as opposed to going on a date with someone you’ve only briefly spoken to and only seen their face. You know what you’re getting with the former so it’s all a bit meh, whereas the latter is exciting and could be great, but could also be terrible.

Tbh he is a very good manager. There were mistakes that were made last time and relationships clearly soured between him and the board (both parties were at fault on occasion imo). If we can learn from then he can be very successful here, again. If it’s him at all that is.

Either that or they're literally carrying rucksacks of cash from DD to top up his pay off the books. :56:

They are just so small fry these days, he embodies that perfectly..as does their policy of signing exclusively free transfers from the lower leagues .

I don't really see how Beale has been very good for them tbh.

Knocked out of both cups, beat in the league when it matters. Drew at Ibrox when they needed to win and the only time they had a chance to catch up with us, Aberdeen comfortably beat them.

Completely agree that Rodgers can't half * it this time round, and I don't think he will, I think we'll comfortably win the league next year under him, the issue with me is the season after.

One thing I don't get is when Celtic fans try to belittle his achievements..

Invincible treble was an amazing achievement.

Rodgers first season was brilliant, but after that I thought the football gradually got worse to watch. In the end, I wasn't enjoying watching the amount of passes across the back line. Bored the life out of me.
