Can definitely see Rodgers trying to impress Jota by doing a team talk in Spanish despite Jota being Portuguese.

Alright, here's a wee story for you. It was after a training session, and I had a chance to chat with Jota, the talented young lad. Now, Jota is Portuguese, and while I don't speak Portuguese, I do speak a bit of Spanish.

So, I decided to give it a go, and started speaking in Spanish. I could see his eyes light up, an unexpected connection sparked by a language that wasn't native to either of us.

He was quite amused, and I could see him visibly relax. It's funny, you know, how a few simple phrases can bridge gaps and bring people closer. It didn't matter that his first language was Portuguese or that my Spanish was far from perfect. It was the effort, the gesture that mattered.

Football is a universal language, but speaking Spanish to Jota was another way to connect, to show him that football isn't just about what happens on the pitch. It's about understanding each other, about building bonds that help us perform better together.”

I love these stories :giggle1: They’re so him

Dermot will be rolling out the red carpet, private jet, * on tap, endless Guinness and also adding a clause that lawell won't come within 10 feet of him. Think it's a go-er

If this is happening it's * depressing and I for one won't be welcome the * rat back and are we that * desperate wanting him back .
Support totally split on this and if a few results go bad the toxicity levels will be like the Lennon season and no reason to do this and would rather have a new face with a fresh approach and tactics.

It just doesn't really excite me I don't know if it's cause of his past or just that I feel it's a step down from Ange it all feels a bit mehh
